After Lang Xinya walks for a few more minutes, he finally arrives in front of one of the main city's gates. There is a huge sign at the top of the wooden gate, it is written the name of the city, Pingyao. The demon hunter walks into the city with the demon master starving and out of energy on his back, before entering it Lang Xinya placed back Yao Qiu's ribbon forehead on his forehead tattoo.

Lang Xinya ends up entering the city, the more he walks in the main street, the more people he encounters. This main street is surrounded by buildings, mainly shops or restaurants. It is crowded. By the way, most of those people are looking at Lang Xinya in an insistent way, it seems weird for them to see a man carrying another one. But Lang Xinya doesn't care at all, he just walks through the streets, looking for a place to eat something delicious and energising.

He looks at the numerous shops surrounding the main street of this city before finally finding one not so crowded. So he simply enters it, without waiting to be welcomed. The demon hunter wants Yao Qiu to regain strength as soon as possible in case any demons would want to attack them in a greater number and mostly in case Liu Hien comes back with the hope of definitely killing the demon master.

After entering the restaurant, Lang Xinya looks all around him to inspect the place. It is a simple place, a wooden one, there are a lot of beams, the floor is also made of wooden planks. Lang Xinya keeps walking in the building until reaching a counter, an old woman is behind it, waiting for customers to come into her restaurant.

Right when facing the counter, Lang Xinya decides to put Yao Qiu down, of course the demon master still can stand up but not for too long. The demon hunter starts to talk with the old woman while discreetly holding Yao Qiu's arm so he doesn't faint :

-"Hello, I'd like to have a table for two." He asks that on purpose, knowing that Liao Bo doesn't know where they went, so it would have been useless to ask for three places.

Talking about Liao Bo, she is now walking deeper in the forest, in hope of finding a place to hide the Angel of Darkness. After walking for only a few minutes, Liao Bo finally finds a quite small cave big enough to hide the Angel of Darkness in it. So she enters in and talks to the creature while dragging it in the cave as well :

-"I think you'll have to stay here."

Then the monster groans as if it is trying to talk to the demon killer, the latter directly answers, as if she understood what it just said to her :

-"I told you to not worry, I'm going to free you from that demonic form. I just need time." She hesitates to touch the beast but she doesn't since it is really dangerous despite the fact that she can maintain its anger by playing a special song on the flute.

The Angel of Darkness, finally mutters some words with a soft but sad sounding feminine voice :

-"Please find a way as soon as you can, it is getting harder to fight against that demonic thing."

-"You have to wait a bit more. When I come back from this city, I'll find the solution to free you."

Then she simply ties the chains around a rocky pillar inside the cave before quickly getting out of it and placing some branches and other things to hide the cave entry. At this exact moment, her only hope is for the Angel of Darkness to stay safe in that cave and to find a way to free the one slowly getting possessed by a demon.

Back in the city, Yao Qiu is sitting at a table right next to Lang Xinya, the restaurant owner decided to put them in a separate room since the demon hunter is rich, of course he paid the full price for that room.

A few minutes after setting up in the small room, they ordered some food. While waiting for their food to come, Yao Qiu silently looks at his own hands, reminding about how strong his powers were earlier in the morning. Lang Xinya observes the demon master and talks :

-"You aren't thinking about practising your powers now, right ?"

-"No. It's just that I was thinking about the one I fought this morning..." He keeps staring at his hands before Lang Xinya decides to hold one of the demon master's hands, trying to reassure him but also questioning, out of curiosity :

-"You don't have to worry about him, I think you scared him enough so he won't show up for a long time. By the way, who is the one he named 'Hong Zihan' ?"

Yao Qiu doesn't know how to answer, as said before, he is really scared of people knowing that he actually transmigrated into that body because he might die again because of that. So he simply says :

-"I don't know.." The demon master is now looking at Lang Xinya's hand holding his.

-"He said that name directly addressing you, as if he was talking about you."

But before he can add more to what he just said, the door slowly slides until fully opening, Lang Xinya quickly takes his hand off of Yao Qiu's. The food has come. The waiter serving them has their arms full of delicious looking food, they place all the dishes on the wooden table. There is a lot of diversity but Lang Xinya mostly ordered local food. The waiter simply talks right after displaying all the food on the table :

-"Here is your food. Please enjoy it."

-"We will for sure. Thanks." Replies the demon hunter, smiling.

After that short intervention, the waiter finally gets out of the room, closing the door behind them. Yao Qiu is now just staring at the food, starving and not daring to touch it since he is the youngest among the two men in the room. But Lang Xinya realises that and talks :

-"Here, eat some food." He says, putting some food on Yao Qiu's plate.

The demon master slightly thanks the other one before rushing on the food, anyone can tell that he was starving.

After eating for a few seconds, he looks at Lang Xinya, this one is eating more slowly and calmly. Yao Qiu stares at some food on Lang Xinya corner of the mouth, he sees that the demon hunter isn't taking it off, so Yao Qiu swallows what he've got in his mouth before talking :

-"Erm.. Lang Xinya, you have some rice on the face."

-"Where ?" He asks, while trying to take it off despite not knowing where it is. He fails to take it off.

-"Not here. Wait, let me just."

Yao Qiu answers, seeing that the other struggles to take it off, he decides to clean it in a really particular way. The demon master just gets closer to Lang Xinya and ends up taking the rice with his own mouth. So it is like he just kissed Lang Xinya on the cheek !

The demon hunter is surprised so he quickly moves away, his eyes wide open and his whole face slightly blushing. It seems pretty weird for Lang Xinya to be surprised by that action since they already spent an extremely warm night together. Then Yao Qiu goes back to his plate, as if nothing happened.

After not even a few seconds, Yao Qiu feels his arm being poked by Lang Xinya, so he turns his head around to end up seeing the demon hunter with even more rice around his mouth. The demon hunter says nothing, he just stays still. Yao Qiu knows what Lang Xinya wants and it doesn't bother him at all so he just calmly reaches to the demon hunter's mouth to take the rice off it while kissing him.

The demon master even lets down his chopsticks to grab Lang Xinya's back of the neck to properly kiss him, while letting down his chopsticks he almost made some of the dishes fall. Lang Xinya is now halfway laying on the floor, with Yao Qiu on top of him. But the demon hunter stops that kiss by slightly pushing him away, then he talks :

-"Wait. We can't do that right now, it is a public space and you need to keep your energy."

Yao Qiu instantly stops to sit up correctly, he also apologises :

-"You are right. I'm sorry for suddenly acting like that." He says that because he respects people's consent when it comes to intimacy.
