The light kept them pressed together and he noticed that as they continued passing into new worlds that her wounds were also healing now. Apparently whatever healing this light had was limited as he observed his healing had slowed drastically, probably from it also now healing this woman who was coming with him. Looking up he saw another entrance ahead but realized that the light was fading and he could now move his arms. He quickly grabbed the woman and tried to keep her protected but as the light faded and they tumbled to the ground in this strange forest, the force of the impact threw her from his grasp. Rolling through the grass the pain in his side bloomed once again, and he decided to lay for second before planning his next move. With that everything faded to black. 

Upon waking up, the man took a second to stare up at the sky and allow his body to send his brain signals on its status. As the world came into view and he saw the two suns above him, he slowly moved each limb one at a time to test their functionality. First he moved his right arm a bit, and after feeling no pain marked it as in good condition. Next was his left arm, which caused a sharp pain in his shoulder. Okay, obviously that last fall had caused some damage. His left leg was also in good condition but moving his right leg pulled at the less gaping but still extensive gash in his side. Clearly that light had not healed him to the extent that he was fully functioning. That was no matter however, as some rest and food would lead to his quick healing. He had always been a fast healer and he was assuming that would remain unchanged despite being in a new environment. 

With a quick check done, he slowly sat up, wincing as his injuries were jostled. Nearby was a wide and tall tree, so he quickly scooted back against it to have something firm to lean against. Once settled, he took a moment to look around the clearing he now found himself at the edge of. The woman he had drug along with him was lying down further into the clearing, and did not appear to have awakened yet. Glancing around his person revealed that his hunter sword and camping bag were still attached to him which meant he would at least have something to fight with if necessary. He had had to fight barehanded before and it was not something that he wanted to do in this situation. Seeing as his only possible support was still unconscious and he was in no state to move he leaned his head back and closed his eyes to rest, making sure to stay aware of their surroundings for any danger they may face.

A while later he heard rustling from the prone woman in the clearing and opened his eyes to see her sitting up and taking in the sky with a wide eyed expression of disbelief. He heard her breathing pick up as she started to hyperventilate from the stress of suddenly ending up in a completely new world from the one she last remembered being in. He shuffled a bit, trying to muster the strength to stand, which only caused a sharp pain to slash through him, pulling a grunt out of him despite his best efforts to muffle it. The noise was loud enough for her to hear it however and he watched as her head snapped to him and she began to crawl-walk her way over to him, eyes still wide but filled with a bit of hope upon seeing him.
