Chapter V :  TRANQUILITY

    A long time ago, before humanity’s reduction to a mere fraction, there used to be a saying that went like this: Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Of course, the perception of God and religion as a whole, has dwindled and fallen from grace ever since. Yet, in the darkest corners of the cosmos, there are still those… who believed.

They wholeheartedly prayed that someone, was out there.

Someone would hear their wishes, and give solutions to their predicaments. But the question remains… why did those people chose to lay out their voices towards a being that was… simply never there to respond? How is it… that when all hope is lost and every other option has been used, humans would always resort to calling out… their Maker? 

  Is hope something that people gain on their own, or something given by God himself? 

  None can tell. However, in a far green field surrounded by thick vegetation, a certain group of people, know very well… to who they own their gratitude. A seemingly clueless, youthful, handsome man that suddenly appeared into their lives and in the span of less than a week, managed to resolve their biggest issue, successfully pulling together the strings that were let loose, connecting them all together once more.

Even if they were never ones to call on God’s assistance, after everything that went down, it would be foolish to say that this man wasn’t… god-sent. Down there, inside The Family’s cozy cabin, the only sounds that could be heard… were purely festive and harmonious.

  Athan did not just ended a quarrel, he changed their lives for the better. Isaac toned down his forbidding demeanor and gradually began opening more. Abraham made peace with his sons and acknowledged the errors of his ways. Ishmael was really glad to be able to call both Isaac and Athan his brothers (though Isaac still found it hard to accept Athan fully). Sarah, saw the shared dream she held with her husband bloom at last… a big, happy, peaceful family. And as always, let’s not forget… our one and only furry companion, valiantly standing by their side through hot and cold: the Boro! 

  Three months had went by, ever since the decisive battle took place, and now, there wasn’t but a cloud in the sky to block away the light that shone upon their souls. They had all made a promise. A wish connected among their close and tight newfound bond. To try and become… the best versions of themselves!

Perhaps, that old saying… is not so outdated after all…
