Luke gazed at the photos on his phone before instructing his driver to continue driving.
Meanwhile, three women sat at a table, engrossed in conversation. "Well, we haven't heard anything about her," one of them said. The second woman's response was laced with intrigue. "Flora must have hidden her somewhere or is hiding something. She is good at that."
The conversation came to an abrupt halt as Flora appeared, walking past the table before doubling back. "How's your pregnant daughter doing?" she asked one of the women, her tone sweet but her eyes glinting with mischief.
The other two women exchanged shocked glances, while Flora's inquiry seemed to disappoint the woman being asked. Flora's smile grew wider as she sauntered over to sit down.
In a different part, Lisa was alone at home, deciding to take out the trash. As she approached the bin outside, she was suddenly ambushed by four men. Before she could react, they overpowered her, and she was kidnapped.
Lisa stumbled forward, blindfolded and led by unseen hands. She yelled and threatened, demanding to be released. When the blindfold was finally removed, she found herself in a luxurious room, seated in a plush chair. Her gaze fell upon Luke, who looked distinctly annoyed.
"You're going to name your price for what you're about to do," Luke said, his tone detached.
Lisa's shock gave way to outrage. "You're the one who published that lie, and now you've kidnapped me and offering me money? What next, are you going to kill me?"
When Luke didn't respond, he called in Desmond. Desmond's explanation was laced with sincerity, but also a veiled threat regarding Tina. For once, Desmond's usual composure was ruffled, and he seemed almost excited.
Lisa turned inward, her thoughts a jumbled mix of fear and confusion. "What am I doing?" she whispered to herself, her mind racing with questions and doubts.
Tina returned home to find the place in disarray, and a frantic search for Lisa ensued. With no answers forthcoming, Tina decided to take matters into her own hands and began tidying up.
Hours later, Lisa walked in, looking polished and composed. Tina turned to her, her expression stern. "You've really been something else ever since you returned. Mom will be back soon, and you'll need to explain yourself to her."
Lisa tried to interject, her tone conspiratorial. "Tina, you won't believe it. I got kidnapped today."
Tina's response was a laugh, laced with sarcasm. "Yes, of course you did." She served dinner, and they ate in silence.
As they finished up, Tina mentioned, "We have a project exhibition tomorrow," pulling out her phone. Her eyes widened as she scrolled through the screen, and she dropped her spoon. "You said you got kidnapped? It's on the internet."

Lisa's excitement was palpable as she rushed to the couch to grab her phone. Her smile faltered as she saw the news online, and she turned to Tina, her expression somber. "It's complicated."

Tina's gaze was unwavering. "Trust me, I'm telling you the truth.Lisa trying to explain. Tina's voice was calm but her eyes seemed to bore into lisa's soul."You think you can't trust me with such news? I've stopped blogging, and I have a decent job now." She paused, her eyes locked on Lisa's.

Tina's words hung in the air as she paused, her gaze piercing. "You told me you had nothing to do with him," she said, her voice low and even. "You went on a date with someone you have nothing to do with. And yet, here we are, with everything glaring – you're still in the outfit, and your face is showing boldly in these pictures."

Lisa tried to interject, to explain, but Tina's expression was unyielding. Before Lisa could utter a word, Tina stood up and walked out, leaving Lisa standing alone in the room, the weight of her Cousins disappointment and anger settling heavily upon her.

Lisa fell onto the couch, heartbroken. She recalled Desmond's threat: agree to a date with Luke or they'd ruin her mother's shop and Tina's career. Anger surged through her. "I won't take this lying down," she vowed, determination sparking in her eyes.
