Sofie: Girls? Don't stare at me; instead, stare at Caroline.
Jenny: It’s no surprise that Caroline changed her behavior after the rumors you circulated at school.
Sofie: Do you have any proof that I spread any rumors?
Olivia: I do have proof that you spread rumors, but it’s on my phone.
Stephanie: Olivia? You have proof of Sofie spreading rumors about Caroline.
Olivia: Yes, I have a voice recording saved from one of my classmates and Sofie during my math class.
Sofie: Unfortunately, they confiscated our cell phones.
Jessie: Caroline? Is there any way we can get access to Olivia's phone for the voice recording she talked about?
Caroline: Before I came down, I had all your personal items in this box.
Sofie: Great, can I have my phone back to share my location?
Caroline: Not so fast, you can't have your phone. I'm the only one who can manage your phones. So if Olivia says she has the voice recording on her phone, I need to access it. Olivia, which phone is yours?
Olivia: The case has not changed, so you should remember it.
Caroline: Is it the one with the pink color and a piggy in the background?
Olivia: Yes, that's the one.
[Caroline searches Olivia's phone and finds it, but when she powers it on, it requests a PIN. She approaches Olivia and asks for the PIN, to which Olivia replies that it is her birthday, and the last two digits are her lucky number based on her zodiac sign. Caroline types in 021013, and she gains access to the phone. Olivia shows Caroline how to access the voice recording and whispers something into her ear, to which Caroline nods. Caroline rises and positions herself in the center of the group.]
Caroline: Olivia was correct; there's a voice recording. With Olivia's permission, I would connect this to a speaker that was wandering around in the basement so that we could all hear loud and clear.
[Caroline connects the phone to the speaker and adjusts the volume to a moderate level, ensuring it is clear but not overly loud. She presses play on the voice recording, and everyone listens attentively.]
(Voice recording: Hi Olivia, before Sofie arrives, I’ve been hearing terrible rumors about your friend Caroline. I know they’re false because I trust you and you know her better than I do, but this rumor is really disgusting. The rumor going around is that she sleeps with men. Men? That’s ridiculous. What is happening in Sofie's sick mind? I know, but I can't believe such stupid people fell for it. Even Caroline’s locker had slurred phrases written on it; I have no idea who could have broken into her locker and done that. Oh, here comes Sofie. If I were you, Olivia, I would try to record what she says to you and keep it, because it could be important. Alright, I’ll try since she enjoys being interviewed. -cuts part- Oh, hey. It's me, Sofie. I’m really sorry about what happened to Caroline’s locker. I wonder if they will ever find out who did it. Sofie, get to the point; I know it was you who did it. Olivia, you’re as clueless as a pig, just like your friend Luna. Don’t speak about my friends that way. Why? Are you going to cry like Emma, who was a huge crybaby when her brother went missing, or like Stephanie when she came out of the closet, or will you start a fight like Jenny that could get you suspended? I’m very close, Sofie, to losing my patience with you. What? Or take Jessie, who is dumber than you and believes the world is just full of rainbows and unicorns. That’s it, Sofie, you’ve gone too far. Olivia, you’re weak; there’s no way you can take me on with those spaghetti arms. Plus, if Caroline were here, which she isn’t because she’s too busy being with men. SO IT WAS YOU WHO SPREAD THAT RUMOR ABOUT CAROLINE BEING WITH MEN. YES, I WAS THE ONE WHO SPREAD THE RUMOR ABOUT IT, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS CLASSROOM, NOBODY WOULD DARE TO REPORT IT BECAUSE THEY KNOW FULL WELL THAT IF THEY DO, I’LL HAVE MY DAD MAKE THEIR LIVES A LIVING HELL. Hey, could you please hold my phone and save the recording? Of course, I’ll save the recording on your phone. And Olivia, kick Sofie's butt for the rest of us. She has turned our lives into a nightmare. HEY SOFIE, KNOCK KNOCK? KNOCK KNOCK WHO? HEY SOFIE, I’M GOING TO KICK YOUR BUTT.)
[Caroline stopped the voice recording, unplugged it from the speaker, and glanced down at Sofie, as the other girls did the same.]
Emma: Caroline freed me from this chair so I can take her down. Ask your boss if you can untie me so I can teach her a lesson.
Caroline: Actually, Emma, the boss guy, the bad boy, and the bad girl are already at the door.
[Caroline opens the basement door, lets the three of them in, and then closes the basement door.]
Boss guy: Did you all have fun? We watched you girls argue through a hidden camera, and we were viewing it on a TV in the kitchen upstairs.
Emma: Mr. Boss guy, may I have your permission to be untied so I can take down this girl?
Boss guy: If I say yes, will you promise not to run away?
Emma: I promised; I simply want to get my hands dirty.
Boss guy: Caroline, please untie your friend so she can deal with this annoying girl.
Caroline: Yes, sir!
[Caroline approaches Emma and unties the ropes binding her arms and legs. She leans in and whispers to Emma, instructing her to bring Sofie to the center once she's done, then returns to her chair.]
Emma (grinning mischievously): I’m free now, dear Sofie; don’t sob like a huge crybaby, okay, because no one here will help you.
[Emma stands up and attacks Sofie, repeatedly punching, pinching, and slapping her face continuously until Caroline sounds the air horn.]
Caroline: Alright, Emma. That's enough; return to your place.
Emma (catching her breath): Thank you for giving me this opportunity; I'll return to my seat. Will I be tied up with the ropes again?
Caroline: No, but I'd have to untie all of you again, except for Sofie.
[Caroline tells the evil boy and evil girl to assist her in untying her friends from the chair.]
Sofie: Why are they free while I’m still tied to the ropes?
Boss guy: Because every other girl here appears nice and friendly, unlike you.
Sofie: But Emma should be tied up again; look at what she did to me.
Emma: You brought this on yourself for the disrespectful things you said about me and my friends, especially the harm you did to Caroline and my brother Eric.
Sofie: Eric? I didn’t hurt him at all.
Emma: Yes, you did by lying and pretending to be Caroline to manipulate him into trusting you. I’m glad he ended things with you.
Sofie: Your brother is attractive, but he’s a softie and not into me.
Emma: Keep my brother’s name out of your mouth.
Sofie: Even if your brother was here, he wouldn’t tell you the truth.
Caroline: Sofie, you spoke too soon because I found Eric.
Sofie: You did? There is no way
Caroline: Yes, I did. He’s actually right here.
[Sofie and Emma turned to where the evil boy stood. The evil boy took off his contacts and wig to show his true identity.]
Evil boy/Eric: Hello sister, it’s been a while.
[Emma ran to Eric, and they embraced with tears streaming down their faces.]
