Chloe’s apartment was steeped in a heavy silence. Orion’s presence at the center of the room radiated an unshakable aura of determination. His golden eyes scanned each of his allies before he spoke, his voice firm and filled with purpose.

— “Our plan is simple. We’ll head to Japan, ensure Asuna’s safety, and then I’ll look for my friends. Her father, being an influential figure, might have some answers. Once we deal with Japan, I’ll take care of the church. No matter what happens… even if I have to pay the pope a visit.”

The weight of his words settled over the room. Chloe and Ellie exchanged glances, both aware this path would be anything but easy.

Chloe was the first to speak, arms crossed as she studied Orion with a sharp look.

— “Do you really believe Asuna’s father can give us the answers we need? This could lead us to something far bigger than we ever imagined.”

Before Orion could reply, Asuna, who had been listening intently, finally spoke. Her tone was serious, though laced with a hint of concern.

— “My father has many connections. If anyone has clues about all this, it’s him. But… it won’t be simple. His influence in Japan can be as much a blessing as it is a problem.”

Orion looked at her, weighing her words.

— “If it’s a problem, I’ll deal with it.”

Asuna sighed, knowing his determination was absolute.

Ellie, still reserved, leaned against the wall, her voice thoughtful.

— “And the church? You do realize you’re not just dealing with religious fanatics, right? They’ve got an insane network of influence… maybe bigger than you think.”

Orion simply smiled, that confident, almost arrogant smile of his.

— “Nothing I haven’t faced before.”

Vlad, who had remained silent until then, finally spoke, his deep, elegant voice carrying through the room.

— “Young master, if we are heading to Japan, it would be wise to know exactly where we’re going. Miss Asuna, where is your father located?”

Asuna crossed her arms, pausing for a moment before answering.

— “The clan headquarters is in Kabukichō, at the heart of Tokyo.”

Ellie let out a low whistle.

— “Kabukichō… the lawless city. Of course a powerful boss would be there.”

Orion tilted his head, curious.

— “Explain.”

Asuna sighed, running a hand through her still-damp hair.

— “Kabukichō is the Yakuza district. Underground bars, illegal casinos, shady businesses. If you’re looking for someone influential in Japan’s underworld, that’s where you’ll find them. My father… controls much of it.”

Chloe frowned.

— “So we’ll be walking among criminals and assassins?”

— “More or less. As long as we’re under my father’s protection, no one will touch us. But…” Asuna hesitated. “If we’re seen as enemies, then it’ll be a very different story.”

Orion smirked.

— “Then we’ll just have to make a good first impression.”

— “Exactly.”

Vlad nodded, adjusting his leather gloves.

— “Very well, young master. Now we know where we’re headed.”

Chloe sighed and crossed her arms.

— “No objections, then. Let’s make sure Asuna is safe, and then we move forward.”

With the plan set and their destination decided, the journey to Japan was about to begin.
