The tires crunched across the gravel road as they pulled into the front of the house. Lucy looked out the window and gasped with amazement, the brick house was three stories tall with windows that had oak wood framing. All the members were greeted by the host and hostess, Mr. and Mrs. Willingsons. Their status was high class but their personalities were far from that. They were playful and chipper, not pompous and stiff.
The other two patrol cars pulled into the front of the house. Out one by one, one member after another, weirder and stranger than the last.
“Welcome to our home.” Mr. and Mrs. Willingsons said at the same time, giving off an eerie atmosphere. The Ringmaster, Adam, stepped inside along with his daughter the Circus Princess, Alicia. “My what a lovely house you have here, Madame and Sir.” The Ringmaster said as he bowed to them shallowly. “Oh please, make yourself at home.” Giggled Mrs. Willingsons.
Lucy looked around the front yard before being called over to the car by the Two-headed sister, Tori and Tammy. Conjoined twins, to be exact. Tori, on the left, has brown hair while Tammy, on the right, has red hair. “Lucy!” Tori yelled. “I think her name is Muffin now, Tori.” Tammy said with her nose in the air. “Oh shut it. Tammy. We need to get our room as close as we can to George's room. You know how lonely he gets at night.” Tori whispered. Lucy hurried to help them with their bags. She struggled to go upstairs. Slamming them down and huffing out exhausted breaths.
“So heavy. I wish I was as strong as you, Quincy.” Lucy says to Quincy who is lifting up bags effortlessly. Quincy is known as the strongest man in the world, at least in the circus he is. He smiled warmly at Lucy and picked up the heavier bag for her. “There ya go, Lassy.” He said with a hardy voice. “Thanks Quincy. You're a lightsaber.” She said not thinking. Quincy laughed, “that's ‘lifesaver’ Lassy.” Lucy giggles and shakes her head. “I'm sorry, my brain is all wishy washy from the fire.” She explained.
They made their way to each of the rooms and put the bags in each one. Quincy pats Lucy on the head and walks downstairs, “I'm parched, Imma go to the kitchen. Yell if you need me.” he calls out to Lucy. Lucy starts to unpack Amy's stuff and sees her “medication.” Not wanting to get into trouble she stuffs them under the bed. She quickly stands up when she hears footsteps, her eyes dart to the door. “No no, bad palms! Stop sweating!” She says to herself quietly as she hides them in her pockets. “What are you hiding?”
