The House of Sins: The Legion: Level one

Chapter 5 Nigiel Keth part1

Chapter 5 Nigiel Keth part1

Sebrisha and I walked towards the 2 robots that were blasting loud music. I looked back to see if Roby had gotten in position, and indeed he was. I told Roby to stay posted on top of a trash can and be prepared to shoot once given the signal. As we were walking towards the 2 robots, I managed to get a good detail of them the closer we got.

The one on the left was about 5 feet tall and was also surprisingly skinny for a robot. The robot was also wearing bright pink clothes, so bright, in fact, that it hurt my eyes just looking at it. The robot also had some items on it that were... interesting to say the least. In the robot's right hand was a large black book that had the words "The Arts of Blood" written in blood on its cover, and in its left hand was some sort of large staff that had a green gem on the top of it.

The one on the right was almost the exact opposite of the one on the left. This robot was over 7 feet tall, bulky with full metal plating on most of its body and was wearing all gray clothes with red stripes on them. This robot was armed with somewhat dull weapons. It had a great two-handed ax in one hand along with a double-barrel shotgun in the other and two long swords on both sides of its hip. "Yeah, that shotgun's not piercing my suit.

We both continued walking towards the robots for about 30 seconds until we made it to each other. We stopped once we made it within 5 yards of each other and just stood there staring at each other.

The air was silent for what felt like an eternity, with all of us looking around to see who would make the first move. After a couple more seconds of just standing there, I finally got fed up with the silence and just blurted out the first thing on my mind.

"So, how are you all doing?" I asked the robots. Sebrisha turned her head in my direction like I had asked if apples could get pregnant. She was then about to say something after but got interrupted by the robot's actually answering the question.

"We're doing pretty good," the pink robot answered. I don't know why, but I was surprised that she sounded like a Girl A.I. voiceover in her mid-20s.

"Wait, you two can talk?" I and Sebrisha asked at the same time.

"Of course we can talk. What made you think we couldn't?" the robot in dark gray clothes said.

"Because your kind usually can't talk unless you're equipped with advanced hardware, and even then, it doesn't explain your condition," Sebrisha said with a straight face and no remorse.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, your kind is crazy." The gray robot said with a laugh.

"Yeah, that was pretty wild, Sebrisha. I'm not even going to lie," I said while looking at her sideways.

"Wait, no, that's not how I meant to say it. I meant you people usually aren't sentient enough to have a normal conver-," Sebrisha tried to explain but stopped in the middle of it because she just noticed what she had said a bit too late.

"You people," Both the robots shouted in shock as both clenched their weapons. Oh my god, how is she making things worse on complete accident?

"Wait, that's not what I meant to say. I meant you guys were working in the factory back then, and some of you all couldn't even form an actual sentence," Sebrisha said.

"Shut up," I yelled while getting in front of her as the robot's left staff began to glow a lime green color.

"I apologize on her behalf, sir. You see, none of us get out much. We-" I tried to explain, only for the gray robot to pull out his shotgun and shoot at me. I put both of my hands up and blocked the shot with the best of my ability but still got knocked off balance due to the force of the slug.

"Apologies accepted, but we all still came down here to fight now, didn't we?" The grey robot laughed as he holstered the shotgun in his pouch on his back. Sebrisha then pushed my back to help me regain my balance.

"Why does this revenant even want to kill us?" I growled while lifting my scythe, getting ready to leap at him.

"That revenant up there is Master Abel, for your information, and I doubt he actually wants to kill you because if he did... he would have done so already," the pink robot said as she began charging up a spell.

"So, try to make it entertaining for the Boss, and he will most likely just let you go." The grey robot had said as he lifted his great axe. Alright, there goes the peaceful negotiation

Now it's time for the signal.

"NOODLES," I screamed at the top of my lungs. Both of the robots froze in place due to the confusion of what I screamed, most likely trying to make sense of it.

"What?" the pink robot said before a bolt shot her book out of her hand. As soon as the book hit, Sebrisha then threw a mixture at the pink robot. The mixture hit the robot on the chest, then ice started incaseing and surroundeding her body rabidly, causing the robot to now be completely immobilized. Sebrisha then proceeded to throw another mixture at the pink robot; this time the mixture actually exploded like a firework when it hit the robot, causing the robot to fly across the trash hole and land in one of the trash piles.

"Oh, come on, Washer, how did you let them steal your butt like 3rd base like that?" The gray robot laughed as he began to charge at us. As soon as I saw that, I then proceeded to pull out my cross and began chanting in my head to cast a spell. As soon as the robot got within 3 yards, I cast my incantation.

"BLINDING FAITH," I yelled out as gold light burst out of the cross in the gray robot's direction. The gold light managed to blind the robot but not stop him from charging at us; the robot then proceeded to go for a chop. I and Sebrisha easily dodged the poorly aimed attack. I then cranked my scythe back and proceeded to hit the gray robot in its chest with a rising strike.

The scythe didn't pierce through the robot, though, due to his tough iron plating, but it did cause him to somewhat stumble. He then backstepped a good distance after the strike and proceeded to check the place where the scythe hit him.

"Did you really yell out the spell you just used before you had cast it?" Sebrisha said while running and grabbing the book Washer.

"Yeah," I said while charging at the grey robot with my scythe ready to strike.

"Why?" Sebrisha asked as she raised her gauntlet up, and a blue glow started lighting up in its palm.

"Because casting a spell is easier when you yell out its name... and it also looks cooler," I yelled as I went for an overhead strike. The grey robot managed to dodge my attack, proceeded to hit me with the poll of the axe to stagger me, and then attempted to hit me again with a chop.
