"Aw, what happened with turning me into a scrap metal freak?" Cleaner laughed while hitting me with a flying knee kick to my chin. I laughed, then tried to punch him while he was recovering from landing that knee, but he dodged it and hit me in my stomach. I gritted my teeth, reached behind me, and attempted to slam the cleaner with the vending machine I picked. But he managed to perfectly dodge it, picked back up his sword that he stamped into the ground during the fight, and stabbed me in the shoulder.
I attempted to grab the sword in my shoulder; Cleaner must have seen it coming because he immediately took the sword out of my hand and then kicked me with another kick to the stomach, which knocked me off balance. But before I could even regain my balance, Cleaner threw one of his swords at me. I lifted the vending machine to block the sword and let out a loud laugh, This is exciting.
"Wow, you know how to fight. How long have you been doing this for?" I laughed while concentrating on healing my wounds.
"For about 5 decades now, I've fought many different creatures and animals in my time, but you're one of the weirdest, most definitely the scariest-looking," He said with a laugh before picking up a 5-foot chain on the ground near his feet.
"What do you mean I'm one of the weirdest?" I asked as I ripped a soda from the vending machine.
"Well, one, I've never seen anything that heals as fast as you can; two, I've never fought someone who literally laughs when they get hit.... Freak, and finally, three, do you know what a paralysis demon is?" The cleaner asked me as he began sharpening his sword with his arm.
"Yeah, I know what they are; they always run from me every time they appear when I wake up," I laughed before biting the top off the can and drinking it.
"Well, thank you for proving my point," he said before charging back at me with his sword at the ready.
Tick-Tick
I went for a low sweep with the vending machine to hit him off his feet, but the cleaner used this attack to gain an advantage by jumping over the vending machine and dropkicking me in my chest. The kick sent me tumbling into a nearby small trash hill; I attempted to quickly get back up, but before I could, a bright blue ball came speeding towards me. I blocked the glowing ball with my hand, but something was weird with it, though. When I blocked the magic ball, it didn't explode like it should have; instead, my body had a brief flash of blue erupt from it for a second.
"What was that?" I asked as I got back up from the small trash hill.
"A little bit of a skin enhancer," he said while letting his hand down due to him firing a spell.
"Why would you give that to me?" I asked in confusion.
"To make it a fair fight, it would be boring if I dropped you too easily," Cleaner said with a smug face. His facial features didn't even change due to him being a robot, but I can just feel him making a taunting face. I grabbed a handful of trash from the ground and proceeded to throw it at him to block his vision. The trash hit him directly in the face. I then proceeded to charge at him and attempted to go for a haymaker, but before I could even hit him, that sound went off again.
Tick-Tick
The cleaner then proceeded to somehow grab my arm right before I hit him. I put my arm across his shoulder, and judo threw me hard on the ground. I attempted to get back up and go for another hit, only for me to get kneed in the side of my head. The hit had me get down on all fours due to the impact of the hit. While I was, the cleaner took this chance to wrap a chain around my neck and began to strangle me with it as he pulled back with full force.
"I don't know the master's plan for why we came all the way down to get you, or even why those 2 people were on our ship who gave away you guys' location in the first place, and to be honest, I really don't even care," Cleaner said while pulling the chain harder. I can't break free from this. How are they seeing all of my moves even before I make them? It's like they can see the future.
"But I'll give you props, kid; if you would have lived longer and gotten a little experience in fighting, you would be a force to reckon with. Well, I've got to do what I came here to do, you know," Cleaner said before tightening the chain around my neck to the point where it was hard to breathe. I began to try to pull the chain apart, but the chain was too strong, and I didn't have the right footing to even do it properly. After a few sounds of trying to find my footing, I had managed to find a solid object to stand on, and once I did, I hit the cleaner in the face with the back of my head with full force.
The hit dazed Cleaner enough for me to drop under his chain around my neck. I then tackled him to the ground before he could recover. I went for a ground pound, but Cleaner managed to pull out his shotgun in just the nick of time and proceeded to shoot me twice in the center of the chest. None of the pellets pierced my skin, but the shots still knocked the air from my lungs and sent me on my back holding my stomach, trying to breathe again.
"Nice try, kid. If I wouldn't have pulled this gun out in the nick of time right then, you would have had me," Cleaner laughed as he loaded one shell in the double-barrel shotgun before pointing it at my chest.
"Well, at least you put some permanent damage on him before I got here," a voice said before swooping in at an insane speed to the point where neither of us could react before it managed to take the cleaner's shotgun away from him.
"Sebrisha," I said while getting back up from the ground and regaining my breath. She looked a little different, though. For one, she has blood going down her arm, which isn't good. Two, her mask has a full crack that's across its face like some sort of mouth, three I'm pretty sure nails aren't supposed to go through the fingertips of the suit like a pair of cat claws. And finally, the most alarming part is how she smells. She smelled normal at first, like berries, but now she smells a little bit like an actual bird for some reason.
Tick-Tick
Sebrisha proceeded to shoot the shotgun at Cleaner, but somehow Cleaner was able to dodge it by diving backwards onto his back. The force of the shotgun made Sebrisha do a whole 360 again, but this didn't faze her; she then fell face first on the ground.
"How are you here? Don't tell me Washer lost to you," Cleaner asked in shock as he quickly got back up. I quickly charged at Washer before he could fully get up and tried to hit him with a flying knee kick.
Tick-Tick
The cleaner managed to dodge it by quickly dodging to the right. He then proceeded to swing his sword at me, but I managed to catch the blade by biting it before it hit my neck.
"What's your major malfunction?" Cleaner, he said in anger and shock. I let out a laugh before going for another punch, only for it to be dodged again. The cleaner then tried to punch my jaw, but I blocked his punch with my forehead. He then followed up with a high kick to my jaw; I blocked the blow with my forehead again.
"Why are you blocking with your head, Cleaner? I asked as he yanked the sword out of my jaws and quickly backed up to try to get a safe distance. I chased after him and tried to hit him with a right hook again. It looked like he was going to dodge it again, but this time he didn't; it was like he was paralyzed. I think I accidentally hit the cleaner too hard, though, because my punch made him do a whole 360 spin before falling to the ground.
Tick-Tick
"Bullseye," Sebrisha said with her gauntlet raised and smoking while she was still lying on the ground. She must have used some type of spell that paralyzed him for a moment before I hit him. I slowly reached down to grab Cleaner's leg to rip it off, but before I could, Cleaner turned around and managed to stab me in the chest.
I grabbed Cleaner's right leg, pulled him close, grabbed his right arm, and finally ripped it off the rest of him before I collapsed on the ground. The sword is in my heart right now. The heart is a vital organ. I need to get the blade out so my healing doesn't heal over the blade, which will result in a whole other problem.
I was going to attempt to pull the blade out of my chest, but before I could, Cleaner stood back, lifted me up off my hands and on my knees, and finally pulled the sword out of my chest himself.
I looked at my wrist in worry and saw that my green vein was now halfway spent and slowly depleting as my wound healed. I looked around for anything to use as one, and then I managed to find something, something I lowkey forgot about completely during this entire fight. The cleaner then proceeded to put the sword through my chest again, but this time through one of my lungs, and knocked me to the ground.
