Sieglinde seemed still shaken and woozy. her eyes were dilated and her usually messy hair-do laid down neat and tidy. Lucia put a hand upon Lin's forehead, her temperature was normal. She seemed perfectly conscious, so why was she staring at her childhood friend with blank eyes? Despite calling out her name earlier, Sieglinde didn't actually recognize Lucia. That's what Lucia thought at least.

"Lin, what the hell happened here?" Lucia asked first.

"How come you look like you're on drugs?" Ichigo asked second.

The blonde girl stood up, staring down at her bloodied gown. She let out a quiet scream, she was holding her voice back, she wanted to yell louder…instead she bit into her wrist and punched against the wall. She punched directly into the face of The Wolf. She ripped her wrist away from her mouth and continued throwing punches until the wall was covered in cracks, The Wolf's face barely recognizable.

Her screams still came out quietly, sweat trickling down her face.

"I just woke up…" Sieglinde answered after her tantrum. "I- I was given some medicine and meant to go back to sleep…but when I came back to my room it was like this."

"Medicine…?"

"Pain meds, for my concussion."

Sieglinde stumbled, to which Lucia helped her slowly sit down on the bed and gather herself. The floor and walls were covered in red bodily liquid, but her bed was completely clean. The window that had broke earlier also seemed to be spotless.

The closer Ichigo looked, the weirder the stains seemed.

A few, barely noticeable drops at the ceiling, same for most of the walls. A massive message that was written early on, as the blood on the right wall seemed to be dry. Finally the floor, that blood that had spilled against the floorboards was still warm. There was also an oddly large amount, a much larger quantity than every other spot in this small space. Too much, way too much, one single body couldn't possibly hold enough blood to write that large message and still have a ton leftover.

While Lucia still sat next to Lin, trying to console her, Ichigo took a look inside the closet and just as she suspected, there was a second body inside there. Another young maid that wore a broken pair of glasses. Her dark skin had become nearly gray, she was probably in here much longer than that body with missing organs.

"Hey…Now that I think about it, where the heck are her organs?" Ichigo asked as she pointed to the dead brunette. "I searched the room and aside from that other dead lady, I can't find anything else."

"Ichigo, stop it! Can't you see what this is doing to Lin?! Let's just wait for the police to arrive."

Ichigo let out a chortle, trying to hold back from laughing too loud or too long as she could tell it was pissing off both Lucia and Sieglinde. "Are you guys serious? You actually wanna see the cops right now?"

The girls seemed confused. "Well, yeah…?" Sieglinde answered. "There's two dead bodies in my room and I have no idea how they-"

"They're not gonna believe that, Lin." Ichigo interrupted. "Just look at you! Look at this room! You're definitely gonna be the prime suspect. The moment they'll see you, you're gonna get put in handcuffs."

"What?! Are you insane? I'm just a kid, why would they think that I did this?"

"Please, as if it's uncommon for kids to be killers these days."

"You watch too many cop shows…" Sieglinde accused, however a complete different answer ran through her mind. A part of her actually agreed with Ichigo's claim. She was known as a anti-social loner, she didn't have many friends in school, she's physically capable and on top of all that she's rich. She perfectly fits within the profile most killers do, especially child ones. "…Let's say I believed you though, what are you trying to do here exactly?"

"I'm saying we should search and look for clues before we get thrown out of here! The Wolf is absolutely trying to pin a murder on you and we gotta find out how he did it without being seen…again!" Ichigo explained with enthusiasm. "The missing organs are totally a large clue here, why else would they be the only things missing in this room?"

Lucia scratched at her chin. "I believe the part about someone trying to pin a murder on Lin…but you do know The Wolf is just a rumor, right?"

"Nuh uh, he's real."

"He's not."

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is! Is! Is!!!"

"I'm telling you, you're wrong!"

Sieglinde slammed her hands against their mouths, motioning with her eyebrows to the floor. There were footsteps and voices other than theirs, much deeper ones, the police had arrived sooner than Lucia expected.

"We're running out of time…quickly, let's try to find something before they search the upper floors!" Ichigo suggested.

Sieglinde and Lucia were still iffy about Ichigo's suggestion, but this whole situation genuinely did seem like the plot of a gory detective drama. A lone girl wakes up in a pool of red with two mysterious bodies. A body that's missing it's organs. A cryptic message on the wall. This situation seemed planned out. According to Sieglinde's drugged out mind, it was safest to trust Ichigo right now.

"Ok…Where do you wanna go?"

"That's what I wanted to ask you actually, are there any standout rooms under this floor?"

Sieglinde thought for a while before she nodded. "The office room, I guess." She wasn't sure what Ichigo meant by standout, but she supposed something like the office room as it held personal documents for the Neapolitan family. Whoever might be possibly trying to frame her was likely after the family fortune, that's how it usually goes…

So they headed to the office room first, sneaking on their tippy toes as to not alert the adults. The office room seemed dusty as it had been not used for multiple weeks now. Sieglinde's parent have been still stuck in the UK after all. Still though, she found it odd just how dusty the room was. When Sieglinde wiped a finger across the office desk a large gray stripe was left stuck on her.

This room didn't hold any organs, so Ichigo rushed to the next.

Every other room on this floor was a display room, showing off paintings Sieglinde's mother had procured whenever she went auction hunting. One room held a painting of a tiger who was slowly turning into butter. Another held a gross little flesh pile that sat inside a silhouette of a beautiful swan. Many paintings depicted symbolism of old fairy tales.

They were about to enter the final room, Ichigo was close to giving up hope but the stench of iron entered her nose as the door opened.

Lucia gasped, Sieglinde almost puked and Ichigo screamed…with glee.

In this room hung a painting depicting a little boy crying while getting swallowed by a wolf. They were surrounded by crowd but all of them were facing away, not noticing that the boy was getting eaten. The frame of the painting was decorated with both the large and small intestine. The rest of the missing organs had been hammered into the painting, right on the spots where they should be hiding inside in a regular body.

Not on the boy, but on the wolf. The heart was hammered onto his chest, the kidneys near his hips, so on and so on.

Ichigo reached out, trying to grab at the nails stuck through the gore. When suddenly, she was pulled back by her collar.

"How the hell did you kids get in here?!"

The town of Berrymarrel, a quiet and honestly boring little town where nothing ever happens. At least not anymore, now that "The Wolf" is no longer roaming the streets. Nobody was prepared for his return, the serial killer who's always seen yet never caught.

It's up to three girls at Sellavie Elementary to end his story.

Sieglinde, who wants answers. Lucia, who wants revenge and Ichigo, who's just trying to have fun with her besties.

(All characters are depicted as 18 or older, even if stated otherwise.)
