Today is the day,

Socomun Day.

Damn, I’m so nervous

It wasn’t so bad,

First time, it was shaky, 

Making a lot of mistakes, and stuttering there and there, 

Second time, better,

Though I paused in the middle.

Met Mr. Guzman,

Who host the MUN at school.

Going to get lunch,

But went to the back of the line.

Got the lunch,

Hamburger and cheese,

I thought I had to pay,

But it was for free?

Back in the class, 

Doing some debate,

God, I’m afraid.

Turns out it was not debate,

Just speeches.

Seriously?

A ten minute break before MY turn?

A ten minute unmod,

BEFORE MY TURN!!!!

Finally, it’s my turn,

I think I did really well,

I spoke loud and clear,

And my teammates said so as well.

Resolution writing!

I think I was cooking with that one,

I did like, 50% of the work,

But sadly, I for some reason, only spoke three lines of the entire resolution.

Our resolution got approved?

Idk why that was a surprise for my group,

Heading back to the big hall,

To hear who won awards,

And to end the SOCOMUN day.

Kenya, Eight,

Iran, Five,

USA, Four,

No Kazakhstan for the winners, 

Not that I expected it.

My mom wasn't here,

That was a disappointment,

I wanted her to be her to take photos of me,

Oh well, I took them myself, 

With the help of others.

Damn, those pictures suck.

I guess.

Pretty fun,

I can't wait to have more practice,
