When those three monsters appeared i had no choice but to run away but i knew running wasn't going to help me out or upgrade my powers.
How am i supposed to come out alive from this situation?!
Doesn't Delord have any logic?! How am i supposed to defeat these creatures with bare hands?!
Not to say that the boxes above all three of them has their health at 100%!!!
How are these creatures so healthy?! But at least they have lower mana record compared to everyone that i've seen.

When i was running for my life i couldn't think of anything but those messy thoughts.

The manitor started to shine and something came out of it slowly. When the subject in the manitor appeared completely dropped right in my hands i couldn't be more disappointed.
Because that subject was nothing but a simple knife.
“Are you kidding me?!”
“One of these monsters literally has bigger teeth than this knife!”
At this point i'll become their dinner and this knife their toothpick!!!
I ran towards a long wall behind a building and decided to stay there while coming up with a surviving plan. That place was a blind spot from those monsters' point of view although i should've found a way before they found me first.
“I need to think of something usefull.”
And it was at that moment, I just noticed that i may have some special privilege thanks to what happened in that tunnel earlier.
I knew well that Delord didn't want me dead because of the fact that he went out of his way to keep me alive from that mess of water...
He even got freaked out once i used the 'death' word.
Actually i'm not sure why he was so concerned for me but i have to use it to my advantage.
Because i'm certain that i just heard him say use 'de-zone: water breaker level: 10' or something...
I'm barely at level one then how was i able use a power that gets unlocked at level ten?!

I took out the knife, pointing it in front of my body and ran towards the first monster that was closer to me compared to the other two. But before even landing my small weapon on that monster's legs, the dreadful creature that had three hands and it's body was twice my size beat me faster and caused me a serious injury on my upper body.
Between coughing blood and putting my hand on my chest to lessen the pain, i was shouting from the top of my lungs and cursing from the depth of my being.
“Urghhh!”
[DESERVED! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT FOLLOWING MY ORDERS.]
Can this cocky emperor shut the hell.., Oops, i just forgot that he can read my thoughts.
But honestly, these creatures are faster than i thought...!

A big menu opened on the screen with every kind of ability that i've never heard some of them before.
Speed, power, strengh, stamina and abilities that were revolving around magic and sounded so unfamiliar to me.
The engine for the magical abilities was called 'mana'. An energy that no one knew from where and how came to our life and in a world that everything was always based on science and logic.
My magical powers were still locked at my current level so i could only use the non-magical abilities.
“And it looks like it wouldn't make any diffrences anyway!”
I touched my chest again to check if my wound was still open and in a bad state or not then i just realised my injury was completely healed without my notice.
“Then i want to use speed and strengh.”

When the other two monsters caught up to where i was, one of them that had long nails and ripped wings tried to attack me with his claws but fortunately i was faster to dodge such attack.
Wow...so i could be this fast even though i'm only at the first level?!
[THIS IS HOW POWERFUL I AM.]
Tch...offff course he's gonna take all the credits to himself!
Before that monster retreat and get prepared for the next attack i stabbed it's skull mixed with the strengh and speed that the system lent me at my level. My stab made a deep, serious injury in the middle of that monster's skull. The result was surprisingly effective on it's health's record because it dropped from 100% to 10% in a span of second and i already knew that once one's health record hits that number, it means their life's at a great risk or in other words, death.
That monster started to burn and fade away as if it was a paper that got shattered into pieces in the cause of fire. All that was left was dust and smoke.
“So i can kill them physically since their weak point is the lack of mana.”
But i had this heavy feelings inside my heart because i was killing a living being.
Why was i so shocked?! That was the plan from the start...
And it was at that moment that a vivid memory crossed my mind.
When i was seven years old, i liked animals and insects. I always had a habit of collecting different kind of insects and for that i was getting bullied by other kids everyday. I had this childhood friend of mine that always admired my taste on keeping myself entertained and liking everything that existed in the nature but one day i had to kill an ant by accident because it bit my hand so i started to cry non-stop. That ant was literally the biggest and prettiest kind that i've ever found from the garden near our house so it was heartbreaking for me but that friend of mine comforted me and told me, 'it's okay, you just wanted to save your life, right?'
What the heck is 'saving my life' anyway?! It was just an ant it couldn't kill me.
But these blurry memories and remembering that childhood friend made me quite emotional. In the middle of fighting those monsters, i felt the drips of my tears touching my cheeks slowly.
Why would i remember something like that now?! Who was that childhood friend?!
