We come into contact with our first shrine! The Shrine of Light, just like the Light medallion, did not come from this plane. The spell Maeve cast on the hidden doorway opened the portal that leads into the shrine's realm, letting the three of them pass through easily, where the first shard of the Staff of Power resides.
