The oblate spheroid in front of Snow opened in the middle and a small set of rectangular stairs set before him, and the priestess.
Following her, they ascended the stairs into the floating object; Holding up a hand to block the pricing white from the entrance.
The inside of what he now knew was a ship, was completely jet black with bright white lights that were just circles in the ceiling.
The interior was cleanly cut black stone, and was extremely spacious with padded seats.
But what really caught Snow’s eye right away, was the place this ship was obviously controlled from.
A floating platform dead center in the space. It had golden letters carved in a circle around the edges, similar to the letters he saw in his head just a few minutes before.
The platform lowered to the priestess' feet, and she stepped on it, igniting the letters on the stone.
Once she was in the middle, the stone lifted again, but this time also lifting the black stone wall in front of them.
Revealing the scenery of the crashing waves ,submerged buildings and wide satires leading down.
Snow shuddered slightly at the sight, not letting the shiver reach his face… the dead City he’d spent so long drifting aimlessly in…
But his attention was drawn to the woman again. As gold motes of light began to surround her, she lifted her hands and grasped something not visible to Snow.
But his eyes would soon shut anyway’s, forced by the surge of bright light. An eerie sensation enveloped his body. He felt like his body and mind were being warped and stretched.
But keeping him whole at the same time, he was unable to move or even think. Every thought and tried movement was long and short lived.
As if his body and mind had become completely foreign to him, this feeling lasted for longer than 40 seconds. And then it left,
falling to his knees in a heap of coughs, the priestess paid him no attention at all; not even a glance.
Snow was in control but the sensation still lingered. And he thought the light had gone as well, but when he looked up from the floor he was met with a completely different view. And a completely different kind of light.
There was no longer any water, or broken, battered builds.
But there were buildings, jagged like the ones from his home. Except these were white and colorful, the sky was filled with thousands of floating objects.
Snow was in awe not just by the scenery, but the light that covered it all. The colors that beamed up and down… the sun Snow could see it clearly,
the ball of fire in the sky.
the other side really possessed such a thing. And It was more beautiful and magnificent than he could’ve ever imagined…
The sun was real.
The priestess and the platform lowered to the floor. Still in awe of the sun, the priestess called out to Snow.
Come child,
Reluctantly looking away from the sun.
Snow stood and followed the lady priest to the exit of the floating object. The down the middle and split in two. opening outwards,
light spilled in from the door enveloping them as they drew closer
And when he stepped out, he wasn’t outside like he’d expected.
Instead he was met
with the same light and sensation of his body and mind being warped. But this time weaker.
Falling forward and adjusting his eyes at the same time, Snow found himself in a small room, only two chairs to decorate.
The priestess had disappeared… and was now replaced by someone else.
The woman was seated on one of the chairs. dressed elegantly in a translucent white dress decorated with small shimmering diamonds.
Her eyes were a pristine gold, with hair that matched and her skin was an olive brown.
Hello Snowfall of the night sky.
“I am Lady Astoria…”
