The Summoning (02)

The Summoning (02)

Oct 11, 2025

“Really? How so?” Father Antonio asked returning the vampire back to the present.

“You may have forgotten  that Sister Celia baked some bloody cupcakes earlier,” Silas reminded him while crossing his arms against his chest, his gaze resting on the door. “And I was on my way to the kitchen to grab a few before I was summoned here.”

“Forgive me, but I don’t see what that has to do with me ruining your evening.”

“Well, as you know I’m not the only one in this building that enjoys the taste of blood-”

“Oh, yes, the twins.” Father Antonio interrupted, Silas’s brow twitching at the very thought of those two short maniacs.

“Yes, that's right.” Silas’s footsteps were light against the floor as he silently made his way over to the door.“Those brats wouldn’t have left a crumb behind for me. It wouldn’t surprise me if they even licked the tray clean, greedy little bastards.”

The sour tone in Silas’s voice towards the end prompted a chuckle in the man behind him before Father Antonio cleared his throat and spoke again.

“Well, my apologies for making you miss out on the cupcakes. Perhaps you could ask Sister Celia to prepare mor-”

“If you were truly sorry about inconveniencing me,” Silas cut him off, his pale hand reached out towards the door handle to smoothly turn the lock. “Then you wouldn’t mind compensating me for my troubles.”

     “I’m sorry? Compensate?”

Silas smirked at how lost the head priest sounded, turning to lean against the door, his gaze narrowing at the curtain. Father Antonio’s shadow was standing up now, no longer in its seated position. Silas watched as slim brown fingers slid between the hanging fabric, parting it slowly as the candlelight on the table flickered below it. The moment the curtains were fully spreaded apart, the candle flame quivered before going out completely coating the rest of the room in shadows. However, Silas’s eyesight merely sharpened under the darkness, his gaze never leaving the space between the open curtains.

“I’m afraid you will have to explain.”  A light chuckle escaped from a pair of soft warm brown lips that were curled up into an amused smile, as Father Antonio stood before him with closed eyes.

The head priest was a tall man with long muted green hair tied in a low ponytail. He had a long face with droopy closed eyes, long eyelashes curling at the end of his eyelids, adding on to his natural beauty that often sent church visitors into a daze when combined with his pure gentle smile. Silas sneered at the thought, allowing his eyes to slowly drop down to Father Antonio’s dark purple cassock that went all the way down to his feet, a lighter purple sash with a yellow eye on top snagging his waist; The thick fabric concealed the slender frame underneath, the skin temporarily unmarked and unblemished- though not for long if Silas had anything to do about it.

“Which one would you prefer? An explanation or a more thorough demonstration?”

Silas pushed himself off the door, striding over to Father Antonio as the other man slid around the table. He stopped just a breath away from the head priest, their bodies close enough for the fabric of their clothes to brush against each other. Silas lifted his gaze up to Father Antonio’s face, but his breath caught in his throat.

The latter’s hooded eyes were now open, big bright teal eyes that practically glowed in the darkness that surrounded them as they gazed deeply into Silas’s sharp slanted scarlet eyes, sending a pleasant shiver up the vampire’s spine. It was almost as if the head priest could see right through him, far past his body, into the depths of his very soul. Part of Silas disliked how captivating the other male could be. It was disturbing to say the least, to be subject to such a gaze; Despite how long Silas had been living in the church, he still wasn’t used to it nor did he ever think he would. But at the moment, it only fueled Silas’s growing urge to have the other male’s blood smeared against his mouth and sliding into his throat, filling it up.

“Well you make it quite hard to choose but,” Father Antonio’s arms were folded behind his back, unmoving even as one of Silas’s hands crept around his waist while the other slipped up his chest. “I feel that a demonstration would be more effective.”

Right as the taller man finished his sentence, Silas wasted no time smoothly and effortlessly popping off the eye designed clerical collar that was fastened around the man’s smooth sturdy brown neck. The soft flesh now exposed to the air, flowing with warm blood underneath. A soft chuckle escaped Father Antonio’s lips, vibrating against Silas’s lips as he pressed softly but firmly against the unguarded throat. Right under him, Silas’s hand worked on undoing the top three buttons of the cassock, trying to gain access to more of the head priest’s hidden flesh.

“My so eager,” Father Antonio said in a teasing tone before removing his arms from behind himself. He wrapped one around Silas’s waist-mirroring the vampire’s previous move- but positioned his free hand to rest on top of Silas’s veil. “Did you forget we aren’t alone in this room?”

“You act as if we don’t usually have an audience.” The vampire almost rolled his eyes at the thought of caring on whether or not the stupid entity in the room was watching them- it wasn’t as if his creator would mind as he often enjoyed watching the two of them anyway.

Silas moved the loosen fabric to uncover the head priest’s shoulder, speaking into the bare soft skin before nuzzling his face against the crook of his neck. There was a trail of black lipstick stains against the flesh, smudging even more as Silas licked the area-ignoring the disgusting bitter taste of the cosmetic remains. Instead, he focused on the relaxed warm body pressed against his, the soft inhale of Father Antonio and the slight clenching of fingertips as Silas slowly sunk his sharp fangs into his skin.

As a "faithful" follower of the Soul Eater and Madame Justice, it is Brother Silas's duty to collect the souls of those who owe a debt to the church alongside his partner, Sister Celia. However, one day, he is assigned the task of completing a soul hunting mission by himself, needing to prove that he is capable of completing his duties without any assistance. It's just his luck that his target seems to have an unhealthy fascination with vampires....
