On that day, after what happened with the other children, the girl was found crying alone in the outer part of the village streets. She did not forget what happended that day and she never will in the future.
Since then, the girl never wondered around the village by herself and she decided not to approach the other children ever again.
Before she knew it, two years went by and it was time for the girl's hero training.
In Edelweiss Village, many of the villagers lived in tents as they did not have anyone talented in architecture.
Each person lived in one tent, but children under the age of 13 lived in their parents'(or guardians') tent.
As for the Chief, they lived in the largest tent.
Not far from the Chief's tent, was a smaller set of tents. There, is were the Chief's blood relatives' lived. That included the girl and her family.
The girl was playing with her toys' in her tent, when her mother entered and crouched down next to her.
"My daughter, it is time." She said to the girl, while gently stroking her head.
The girl looked at her mother and smiled.
"Time? Am I going to train to be a hero?" She thought to herself. The girl didn't know much about the training. All she was told was that it was special training for Heros'.
Her mother held the girl's hand and together they walked out of the tent.
"Where are we going?" The girl asked her mother, dragging her little legs against the ground.
"To the Chief." Her mother said.
"The Chief..." The girl thought. "This is the first time I'm meeting my grandfather."
But the girl couldn't help but feel excitement. The under aged children where not allowed to enter the Chiefs' tent.
As they walked towards the tent, two tall armed men stationed on each side of the entrence, lowered their heads.
Startled by this the girl squeezed her Mother's hand.
Her mother paused and crouched down.
"They are just guards." She said. "They will not hurt us, for they are there to protect the Chief."
When they entered the tent, two women, who looked like workers, removed the girl's and the girl's mother's winter coat and gloves. Another worker guided them to another part of the tent.
The inside of the tent was very open and long, but very dark. At the end of the tent was two long poles on either side of the room that had a torch at the end of it. It lit brightly enough to see the other end of the tent room.
At the other side of the tent was a big scary man sitting on a throne like chair. Next to him was a tall skinny man with short thick brown hair and glasses. The tall man had a gentle look on his face, but it was too dark for the girl to see the Cheif's face.
The girl's mother kneeled down in front of the scary man. Flustered the girl quickly Kneeled down next to her.
"I see you have come to make a request of me, Nepella." The scary man said with a deep, husky voice.
The girl knew her mother was 'Nepella' and her father 'Graham', but who was this scary man? She did not know.
"Yes Chief Jin." Her mother replied politely.
The girl glanced up at the Chief.
"So this man is my Grandfather..." She thought.
The Chief looked at the girl.
The girl looked closely at the Chief. The Chief had many scars on his face and his eyes glowed a light blue even though there was not much light.
The girl felt a sudden pressure in her chest. Her heart was beating fast and her breaths became shallow. The girl felt a chill run down her body and instanly she knew that the person in front of her was no ordinary person. This man is truly the strongest person in the whole village.
The girl clenched her fists tightly, and tears started forming in her eyes.
"Ah... I'm scared!" The girl thought to herself.
The girl's mother noticed her trembling in fear and gently place her hand on the girl's head.
"She is your granddaughter." Nepella replied, "Her name is..."
This story is about a girl who worked hard to be useful and a small living rock. The girl was a hero's daughter, and she worked hard to live up to the expectations of her village. But the girl had no tallent, and was cast away. In her journey to find a new goal in life, she stumbled upon a rock. The girl thought about using it as a weapon. But just as she was about to throw it... "AHHHH! DON'T DO IT!"
Wait...did that thing just talk?
