Scene – Present time, inside Precious’s house in Bees Village
Precious and Lior have finished packing all their belongings. They stand in the hall with other villagers gathered around them.

Tall: “You two packed everything?” (a slightly tense tone)
Precious: “Yup.”
Kin: “Remember to eat properly, study hard, sleep on time, and get along with everyone, also—”
Lior: “Yes, yes, yes, Mom, we know! We’re big now!”
Guzy: “Master Precious, Master Lior — Miss Kin is only being protective. Every mother is.”
Lior: “Yeah, I know.”

Suddenly, Precious steps forward and hugs Kin.
Everyone’s expression turns confused and a little surprised.

Precious: “Thank you, Mom… for caring about me and Lior, and for being our mother in this life.”
Kin: “T–T’_’ (teary-eyed) Hmm… same for me.”

Precious: (stepping back) “But Mom, you see, we’re grown up now. Like Lior said, you don’t have to worry about us so much anymore.”
Kin: “That’s a mother’s love, Precious. It never fades or ends.”
Tall: “Okay, okay, Kin. They’re going to another city for their studies — don’t send them off with tears. Send them off with a smile!”

Tety: “Big brother Precious, take care of yourself! We’ll come to study there too once we turn eleven!”
Precious: “Hmm-hmm! And don’t trouble Mom and Dad, okay? Be a good girl.”
Bety: “And Lior, don’t do anything reckless there! Brother Precious, keep an eye on him.”
Precious: “Yup, don’t worry.”
Lior: “Hey, hey, hey! I’m not a bad kid! I’m a good one!”

Tall: “Also, don’t stay in the school dorms. We have our own house in that city.”
Precious: “Our own house?”
Lior: “But you said we weren’t that rich?”
Kin: “You idiot! (playful tone) That was only about paying the Doramai School fees. We’re not so poor that we can’t buy a house in the city!”
Lior: “Ah, I see.”

Pizu: “Wouuu!” (Precious’s pet beast, whom he named within his first month of birth)
Precious: “Okay, okay, don’t start crying too, Pizu. Take care of yourself and the house, okay?”
Pizu: “Wouf!” (Yes!)

Kin: “Precious, take this mask and use it to cover your eyes while you’re there.”
It’s a black cloth made to conceal his eyes.

Precious: “But why?”
Kin: “Did you forget? Your eyes aren’t normal. Anyone who sees them could fall into fear.”
Precious: “Ah… okay then.”

He puts the mask over his eyes. His eyes are hidden, but he can still see clearly without using any skill.

Kin: “It’s a special mask I made just for you. No one can see your eyes, but you’ll be able to see perfectly, as if nothing’s covering them.”
Precious: “Thank you, Mom.”

He puts the mask into his bag.

Lior: “So, shall we go now, Precious?”
Precious: “Yes.”
Precious and Lior: “Bye, everyone!”
Everyone: “Bye! Be safe!”

Scene – Outside Bees Village
Precious and Lior walk along the road.

Lior: “Oh man! Walking to Agram City will take at least two days!”
Precious: “Then fly there if you want — no one’s stopping you.”
Lior: “No way! I’m not leaving you alone.”

Suddenly, a car approaches from behind and stops near them. The door opens — it’s Shai, their friend.

Lior: “Huh? Shai?!”
Shai: “Lior, Precious — where are you two going?”
Precious: “We’re heading to Agram to take the Doramai School entrance exam.”
Shai: “Seriously?!” (excited tone)
Lior: “Yup.”
Shai: “I’m going there too! Why don’t you two come along with me?”
Precious: “Are you serious?!”
Lior: “But that school’s really expensive. Can your family afford it?”
Shai: “Don’t underestimate my family.”

Lior (in his mind): What?! Even the 3rd most powerful family in our village couldn’t pay that school’s fee — but his family, not even in the top 5, managed to?! (shocked)
Lior: “B-but how?”
Shai: “Man, Lior, you ask too many questions. Seems like you don’t want to come. Fine, I’ll go alone then.”
Lior: “N-no, wait! We’re coming!”

Precious and Lior get into the car. It starts moving toward Agram City.

Inside the car:
Precious: “By the way, Shai, where are you planning to stay there?”
Shai: “Simple — in the school hostel.”
Lior: “Huh, your family doesn’t have a house there?”
Shai: “Nope.”
Precious: “Then why don’t you stay with us?”
Lior: “Oh yeah, our family owns a house there. It’s big enough for three people.”
Shai: “If it’s okay with you guys, then sure.”
Precious: “Hey, what kind of friend would say no?”
Lior: “Yeah, the three of us will stay together.”
Shai: “Then it’s settled!”
