Ayumi blinked twice, being met by the darkness instead. The soft ripples of water slowly returning the dark-blonde teenager back to her senses.
The blonde seemed lost, trying to think of something else or wrapping her mind around the fact that it was freezing; she could feel the chill enveloping her.
Ayumi seemed too distressed even to keep moving; the fear of the dark was speaking louder...Louder than the red-ribbon girl could fathom. Froze in place, holding her legs closer while trying to find the urge to scream or a way out.
Despair..
The warmth now enveloped her, falling like a waterfall and passing as a warm streak across her cheeks. Ayumi got up trying to run but it held her in place like quicksand, tainting the Japanese girl's clothes with black water. Pulling her underneath, the sensation of drowning forcefully, as if something was holding her.
Before Ayumi could scream for help, she woke up, startling the older man who was driving, with her screams.
- Ayumi..geez, for god's sake, what is happening? -
- I..I..had..an..- The blonde-haired girl looked around- Nightmare? I think...
- ...I'm sorry about that ...- The man took a deep breath while keeping an eye on the road- ..it must be..stress, I'm sorry for making you move out like this.. - It seemed like Ayumi's father wasn't too much interested in it-
-..Yeah..I think so..but - Ayumi was pausing her phrase, trying to find the best wording to talk with him- .....
Maybe moving was a good idea at all? It's not like she was popular or an it girl in her old school; however had a lot of friends...
-I miss them - Ayumi thought to herself, closing her eyes like a meditation or something -
Another language, another school maybe she would be bullied too?
I didn't studied english for nothing - Ayumi's mouth frowned on what seemed like a resting bitch face-
When we arrived at the new house it was almost dawn. It's good that there's silence and it seems like none is really around. Angry to help Ayumi almost got into a fight with her own father.
What a wonderful time to start self-loathing, Ayumi... really...I know that you miss mommy, but... she allowed you to move with your father to another country. She does love you but again, they're a divorced couple. Even so, she could've let you stay, told something to Jun so he could refuse the job offer, or allowed you to stay in Japan with her but.
Does she care at all?
Although pitying herself was a valuable hobby for her, the only thing she would do now was accept reality. The only thing that made me sane was reading a pamphlet about the new school my father enrolled me in.
'' Santa Luzia Academy''
''Well..It could be worse..And it is, it's a boarding school. ''
''Why did he think it would be good for me? What? ...''
Ayumi got up quickly, walking around the small room that she had chosen for herself.
Ayumi got up quickly, walking around the small room that she had chosen for herself.
''What if I trip, fall and die on the first day? I..I don't know should I tell father that I'm sick?.''
- ..Fuck..should I hide - Ayumi crossed her arms-
''Maybe not, he will find me anyway...''
''So..simply don't react'' - The Japanese girl thought to herself once more, the train of anxiety crashing into her once more-
