"No" replied the officer "You need to get checked out of the hospital" "Done" said Sam "Ok, then let's head over to foster care-" "HECK NO! I'm NOT going to foster care!" yelled Sam "Well as far as we know, you don't have any other relatives and foster care is the best option" "Then I'll run." "Are you guys with me?" said Sam as he turned to face them "I am" said Aiden "Me too" said Madison "I'm in if you are" said Oliver "Yeah, sure" said William. "Well then" said Sam as he turned back to the officer "I guess I'm on the run. Come on, guys. Let's get out of here" said Sam, walking to the exit, everybody else following him "Y'know, that a stupid idea, kid" said the officer Sam stopped, turned and looked right at him "Oh, I know that sir. But will that stop me for doing it? Hell no!" Sam continued walking to the exit. Once they were about a block away from the hospital they discussed their plan. "So, we'll head to my house and get supplies and maybe Aiden's house for some food, sound good?" said Sam "Yeah. First yours, then mine sounds like a plan". They walked into the house looking for anything they might need. "We might have to go to a store to get some stuff" said Sam "Like what?" asked Aiden "Like a bigger backpack, a couple of sleeping bags, oh, we could also get some bikes to make traveling faster" "Well, I have sleeping bags" said Madison "And I have bigger backpacks" said William "I have about two bikes" said Aiden "And I have three more bikes" said Oliver "Nice. Now I just need to find some stuff in my room" said Sam as he started walking up the stairs to his bedroom. He opened the door and walked in, going straight to his bedside drawer. In it was a good amount of cash, about $5000, a lighter, a map, a pocket knife and a journal. He took it all out and put it in his bag, he went down stairs back to the rest of the group "Okay, I got everything, we can go now". They decided to go to William's house for the backpacks. They got in, and got out with the backpacks and headed for Aiden's house next.
