The next morning I woke up laying next to Mathew. Who’s still cuddling me. I reach for my phone and see the time. 8am. I shake him so he can let me go but his hold doesn’t loosen. 

“Mathew. I need to go to the other room before everyone else gets up.” I whisper to him. 

He moves a little, putting his head on top of mine getting closer to me. “No. Stay with me.” He insisted. Still having his morning voice that I still to this day love hearing. It kinda shows a person before they’ve put themselves together to go out to the world. It’s kinda showing your vulnerable side.

“No. Come on.” I reply.

“Fine. I shouldn’t have told them to stay. They're taking you away from me.” He replied grumpily.

I grabbed my phone and my camera accidentally opened up. Taking pictures.

“Take pictures of us.” He suggests. We don’t really take pictures now that I’m thinking about it. It’s mostly pictures we take of each other. Most of the time to post of our selves. 

I start taking selfies of us laying in bed. He starts kissing me on the check while I take pictures. He moves to my ear biting it in the picture. Lastly, kissing me while we take them. I know people always talk about morning breath but he never had it. Or maybe I was just used to kissing him in the morning that I didn't notice it. But that wouldn’t explain me not noticing it in the beginning of the relationship.

“You better send me those pictures.” He commanded. 

“I will.”

We both get up and brush our teeth. I start to put on my clothes. He throws on a sweater and some sweats. He peeks his head out his room to hear or see anyone. He hears people talking downstairs. He nods at me giving me the okay and we walk out. No one’s in the hallway. We head to the stairs hearing people talking and laughing. Mathew grabs me before we get off the last step kissing me and walking into the living area. We walk out to where we are visible to the kitchen. 

“Hey! Your mom told us not to wake you guys.” Stephanie shouted. 

“Come have breakfast I’m making eggs, bacon, pancakes and sausage.” Mathew’s mom yelled.

I look up at Mathew. “Come on.” Mathew tells me, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the kitchen. 

“I’m glad you came back to visit.” Mathew’s mom told me while I stand at the island in the kitchen where they all sat at. 

“Oh. Um yeah.” I muttered.

It looked like they were barely about to start to eat. Most of the food was almost done cooking. Logan, Nina and Stephine all sat on bar stools at the kitchen island. I sat next to Logan’s right taking the last chair on that side other than the one on the other side where Nina was sitting. Mathew just stood at the edge by me leaning on the counter. Mathew's mom asked us how everything went and she was glad we stayed so we wouldn’t drive at night. 

They all looked at me. I guess they were all thinking about my little episode I had about being scared.

“It went well mom.” Mathew replied to her. 

His mom started serving the plates and placing them in front of us. When she puts my plate in front of mine Mathew notices. 

“Oh mom, he doesn't eat dairy products.” He commented. 

“I'm sorry I didn’t know.” She apologized.

“Oh it’s fine I can just eat the eggs, bacon and sausage.” I try to reassure her. The rest just kept eating and enjoying the free meal. 

“I’ll make you some.” Mathew said and stood up. When I stayed for the week we had bought some food and I left it here. “Did you throw out the other pancake mix?” Mathew asked his mom.

Mathew walked over to the pantry. “No it’s still there.” His mother replied. He got the mix and came back into the kitchen. He went into the fridge and grabbed the oat milk. 

“Mom, sit down, I'll finish the rest.” Mathew told his mom. 

“Isn’t he kind.” Mathew’s mom hugged him. “You guys are really missing out by not claiming him.“ She laughed and sat by Nina. Mathew ended up coking what was left of the mix making four pancakes. At this point we are all enjoying our breakfast and almost done. Mathew turned off the stove brought the plate of pancakes over by me and sat it down. 

He served himself eggs, bacon and sausage. Mathew then grabbed the pancakes off my plate and put them on his. “I’ll eat these.” He tells me and puts the diary free ones on my plate. We finish our breakfast and we start saying goodbye. Mathew’s mom tells us to come over whenever we want.
