[Mr. Whitcore: Sunha, are you doing alright? You have been off for a while...]

[Me: Trying my best to be better, I will show up next week, I think..]

[Mr. Whitcore: Sunny, open up. I brought you some food]

I looked up from my phone in amazement. My boss cared about me! He came to give me food??? Did he think I wasn't eating well? I went to the door and opened it. 

"Mr. Whitcore, you didn't have to do this," I say, as I usher him inside. 

"Were you taking care of yourself this past month, like I asked?" he replies. 

"That isn't the way to say hello... But yeah I have been looking after myself. You seriously didn't need to bring food though.. What did you bring?" I ask.

We spent a good deal chatting not just work stuff, maybe some small talk stuff. But we were hanging out like old friends. It felt good and made me more motivated to return to work next week. After all, stayingat home all this time.. It gotten a little mundane, so of course I couldn't but help myself actually do some of the new work that was going on while I was off.. Well... Occassionally, but I didn't tell him that.  We ate dinner and then he suggested if we should watch a movie that we found on Mulu, a streaming platform. Yeah.. weird right? But seeing it as that we are friends in this situation, not boss and employee, it felt okay I guess. 

Although the sense of longing.. longing for mate.. these past few years... and fake mates have made the heartache and pain much harder. The dreams.. the sense of longing.. Honestly it has been hard, lately.. Well you know as hybrids we have mates.. About this bit.. Well i will continue another time..
