Sabito lunged at Lord Magnus.

        Lord Magnus flew at Sabito.

        Sabito and Lord Magnus clashed.

        Sabito tried to push Lord Magnus back.

         Lord Magnus pushed Sabito back.

         Sabito nearly fell over at that time.

         Sabito gritted his teeth. “Darn!” he growled.

         “No need to be upset. Not even your grandfather could defeat me,” Lord Magnus said.

         Sabito looked at Lord Magnus. “That’s because you had your lap hawks helping you to fight him,” Sabito said.

          Lord Magnus chuckled a bit. “Now it’s just me and you,” Lord Magnus said.

          Lord Magnus flew over to Sabito.

          Sabito got ready to block Lord Magnus’s attacks.

          Lord Magnus smirked and flew around and swung his shadow blade, slashing at Sabito’s back.

         Sabito screamed in pain. “AHHH!” Sabito winced.

         Lord Magnus smirked.

         Lord Magnus’s blade became a shadow blast.

         Lord Magnus launched it.

         Sabito quickly turned around and jumped up, using a bit of his strength to will himself to jump up while in pain.

         Lord Magnus flew up and appeared in front of Sabito.

        Sabito’s eyes widened.

        Lord Magnus kicked Sabito in the face, making him fall to the ground.

       Sabito had one eye open and looked up, wincing.

       Bellatrix and Ambrose, along with the townspeople, looked worried for Sabito.

        Ambrose clenched his fists. “That freaking hawk,” Ambrose said.

       Bellatrix looked at Ambrose. “I know what you’re thinking, but you need to stand back. If you go over there, you’ll only get in Sabito’s way,” Bellatrix explained.

       Ambrose looked down. “Sabito’s in trouble, and he’s defending our home. Someone has to help,” Ambrose said.

      Ambrose ran over.

      “AMBROSE!” Bellatrix shouted.

       Genghis Quack winced a bit.

       “W-what does he think he’s doing?” Genghis Quack asked.

       Lord Magnus landed.

       Sabito tried to reach for his katana.

        Lord Magnus used his sharp feet to stomp on Sabito’s left hand.

        “AHHHH!” Sabito screamed in pain.

       “Now it’s time to begin my feeding,” Lord Magnus said as Ambrose tackled him to the ground.

       Lord Magnus growled. 

        “Get off! You barbarian oof!” Lord Magnus growled. 

        Sabito glanced over at Ambrose.

        Sabito quickly grabbed his katana.

         Ambrose gritted his teeth. “I won’t allow you to hurt my friend,” he said.

         Lord Magnus smirked. “You’re his friend, huh?” Lord Magnus asked as his eyes began to glow purple.

       Sabito quickly hopped over after seeing the rise of the purple aura.

       Sabito gritted his teeth as he started hopping at full speed.

       “I gotta hurry,” Sabito thought. 

        Sabito kicked his right leg up and kicked Lord Magnus in the face before he could blast a hole in Ambrose.

        Ambrose fell back and looked over at Sabito.

        Sabito glanced over at Ambrose. “I appreciate what you did, but you have to get back over to the others,” Sabito said.

         Ambrose glanced over at Lord Magnus.

         Lord Magnus stood up with his eyes still glowing. “You will pay for that,” Lord Magnus said.

         Sabito glared at Lord Magnus. 

          Ambrose quickly got up and ran back over to the townspeople. “Good luck, pal!” Ambrose said.

         Sabito blinked for a moment before turning his attention back to Lord Magnus.

         Lord Magnus opened his beak as a purple blast started to form.

        “I’ll give you a bit of praise. You survived a lot longer than your rabbit brethren, but now this comes to an end,” Lord Magnus said.

           The sky began to go dark as the blast grew.

          Sabito took a deep breath in and out.

          “I can’t panic right now. I must stay calm,” Sabito thought as he began to go back into his stance.

           Sabito went back into the Chudan no Kamae stance.

          Lord Magnus smirked. “Let’s see you dodge this, but be warned if you dodge it, say goodbye to your little friends,” Lord Magnus said as he launched the blast.

          The townspeople were afraid.

          Genghis Quack watched Sabito. “That’s it, young rabbit, don’t show emotion. Be calm,” he thought.

          The blast was getting closer to Sabito.

          Suddenly, Sabito opened his eyes.

          Sabito’s eyes were bloodshot red.

          The red aura surrounded Sabito as he got ready to swing his katana, which was now covered in red energy.

         “USAGI STYLE! BLOODY RABBIT MAKKO-GIRI BUSTER SHOT!” Sabito shouted as he swung his katana to slice the shadow blast in half.

          Lord Magnus realized the red slash was still coming at him.

          Lord Magnus flew up in the air as the red slash exploded in the forest.

          Lord Magnus looked in the direction of the explosion.

          “This rabbit is impressive,” Lord Magnus thought. 

           Genghis Quack winced. “He might have missed him, but one thing I know now is that Magnus is definitely at a disadvantage because Sabito’s ability did come out, but only for a short time, but that doesn’t matter because now Magnus is desperate. Magnus has tried everything, meanwhile Sabito has been using his head like I taught him,” Genghis Quack explained as Bellatrix and Ambrose looked at him.

           Sabito glared at Lord Magnus as his eyes turned back to normal. 

           The wind began to blow.

           “Magnus,” Sabito called out.

           “You should just give up. You’re out of tricks,” Sabito said.

           Lord Magnus glared. “You dare to tell me to give up?” he asked. 

           “Of course, you’re out of things you can try on me,” Sabito said as he clenched the katana in his hands.

           Lord Magnus flew down.

           Genghis Quack watched. “That fool,” he said.

           Sabito had his katana ready.

           Lord Magnus tried to kick Sabito in the face, but Sabito jumped back.

           Lord Magnus flew back around.

         “KEEEAAARRR!” Lord Magnus shouted.

         Sabito swung his katana, putting a slash mark on Lord Magnus’s chest. 

         Lord Magnus flew back.

         Sabito glared at Lord Magnus. 

         “Just stop this fruitless attack, it's not in your best interest,” Sabito said.

         “Shut up!” Lord Magnus said.

         “Look! I don’t want to kill you. It would bring me no joy,” Sabito said.

        Lord Magnus glared.

        “You are such a naive fool,” Lord Magnus said.

       “A hawk has to feed upon a rabbit; it's the only way we’ll live. You rabbits have far more porian energy than any other porian on the face of the planet. It’s odd because you rabbits are the weakest species of porians on this planet, which means no one would care if we wiped you out by feeding on you for your energy. This angers you because we’ve killed your friends and family, yet you would find no joy in killing me?” Lord Magnus asked.

         “No, because destruction prologues hate, hate prologues violence, and violence prologues revenge. Revenge prologues…KILLING!” Sabito said.

         “I will NOT be a product of any of that,” Sabito said. 

         Sabito sheaths his katana.

         Lord Magnus was speechless.

        Sabito turned his back. “I’m deciding to spare you, so use this second chance I’m giving to repent for your crimes,” Sabito said.

       Lord Magnus watched as Sabito started walking back over to the townspeople.

       “I, Lord Magnus, will die in battle rather than continue living knowing a naive rabbit chose to spare my life,” Lord Magnus said as he flew at Sabito at full speed.

       “I WON’T LIVE AS A BEATEN DEMON HAWK!” Lord Magnus shouted.

       Genghis Quack, Bellatrix, and Ambrose’s eyes widened.

       The townspeople looked at Sabito.

        “SABITO! WATCH OUT!” they all shouted.

        Sabito quickly turned around and unsheathed his katana.

        Sabito swung his katana, slicing Lord Magnus in half with a single swing.

       Lord Magnus’s eyes widened as he fell on the ground.

       Lord Magnus’s body began to dissolve into energy as Sabito saw a smile on Lord Magnus’s face as he dissolved into energy.

       “T-Thank you, Young Lagomorph, for freeing me from this dark existence of being a demon hawk,” Lord Magnus said, as his words echoed.

       Sabito looked at the energy that went into the air of the planet.

       Sabito sheaths his katana and looks up. “I pray you find your way in the afterlife, Magnus,” he said as a tear streamed down his face as he thought about his rabbit brethren. 

      “I hope I made you all proud,” Sabito said as he turned around to join the townspeople.
