On the planet where anthropomorphic animals are the species called Porians, out near the country of Laymeria, a group of dog warriors called The Hundr (Dog in a different language) Warriors were racing through the dirt path in the rain.
The leader, a female named Thyra, a golden retriever with long hair wearing armor with a weapon on her back ordered her warriors to stop.
“What’s going on, Lady Thyra?” Thyra’s second-in-command named Birger, asked.
“Some odd burst of energy is coming from that direction near Odin Village,” Thyra said.
Birger nodded. “Elder Frode said the same thing earlier,” Birger said.
“Then we’ll have to investigate what’s going on out there. MEN FOLLOW ME!” Thyra shouted the last part.
“YES! LADY THYRA!” The Hundr Warriors shouted.
Thyra began running in the direction of Odin Village with her Hundr warriors following her.
Birger looked ahead as he and the hundr warriors followed Thyra.
“The scent is getting stronger, but it’s extremely negative,” Birger said.
“That means we are near,” Thyra said.
“We shouldn’t rush in so foolishly,” Frode said.
Another member with a warrior ponytail named Gunnar looked at Elder Frode.
“I agree, one of us should go into the village to search around and then signal the others to come into the village,” Gunnar explained.
Thyra looked at Birger. “Birger will be the one who searches the village followed by the rest of us keeping our weapons drawn, hopefully knowing if the civilians were harmed there,” Thyra said as the group soon stopped near the village entrance.
Birger looked at Thyra. “I’m going in,” he said as Thyra nodded.
“Remember, keep your guard up,” Thyra warned.
Birger nodded. “Understood,” he said as he drew his weapon and entered the village.
Immediately, after Birger entered the village, a foul scent hit Birger’s nose.
His eyes widened as Birger followed the scent that hit his nose.
Birger walked over to a destroyed home, and his heart immediately sank when he saw the remains of a dog family.
Birger clenched his weapon.
Birger howled in the rain.
“HOOOOWWWWLLLLL!” Birger howled.
Birger’s howl echoed over to the village entrance.
Thyra and the other warriors entered the village and followed the sound of Birger’s howl.
“Birger, what happened?” Thyra asked as Birger looked away.
Elder Frode looked at the remains, and everyone went quiet.
“W-who or what could’ve done this?” Gunnar asked.
Thyra shook her head. “I don’t know, but what I do know is whoever did this must have a problem with us,” Thyra said.
“The aura is still in the air, meaning the presence is so strong that it must take a long time for the scent to thin, so whoever the attacker was must’ve wanted us to see what they did,” Elder Frode explained.
“What shall we do now?” Birger asked.
Thyra immediately remembered Genghis Quack.
“We must head back to the Hundr Island,” Thyra said.
Everyone looked at her.
“You can’t be serious, Lady Thyra,” Gunnar said.
“I am. Genghis Quack is bringing his student who defeated those demon hawks,” Thyra said.
Elder Frode nodded. “I see, we could get Genghis Quack and his new student to help us with the mysterious attacker, am I right?” he asked.
Thyra nodded. “Yes,” she said.
“So, everyone, let’s get going…NOW!” Thyra shouted out the last part.
The Hundr Warriors looked determined as they all nodded their heads. “YES! LADY THYRA!” they all shouted as they followed her back to Hundr Island.
In the country of Jewel, Sabito and his new master, Genghis Quack, were walking through the forest.
“I can’t believe I’m about to leave the country of Jewel,” Sabito said.
“You make it sound like you’ve never been outside of Jewel,” Genghis Quack said.
“Well, I’ve never been out of Jewel before back in Rabbit Burrow. Only the elite rabbits would go out of the country but not for battle only to find more supplies other than that we stay near the forest and the burrow,” Sabito explained.
“Rabbits are social, though,” Genghis Quack said.
“We are it’s just we are social to the other porians in the community who aren’t trying to cook us on the grill or a frying pan,” Sabito explained.
“Well, I should say we WERE because of Lord Magnus,” Sabito said as he looked down.
Genghis Quack glanced over at Sabito. “Hey, chin up, remember you defeated Lord Magnus,” he reminded Sabito.
Sabito nodded. “Yeah,” he said.
“So, what are the Hundr Warriors like?” Sabito asked.
“They’re old school,” Genghis Quack said.
“They don’t live…Modern if you know what I mean,” Genghis Quack said as they continued walking.
“No I don’t know what you mean,” Sabito said.
Genghis Quack sighed. “Okay, so Jewel is a bit more modern than the other countries it’s not the only modern country but it’s pretty much far along because the amount of the development opportunities while a lot of countries kept a lot of the traditional ways by using balance like there are modern aspects to the other countries but you’ll see more of the traditional ways,” Genghis Quack explained.
Sabito looked at Genghis Quack. “So the Hundr Warriors live more traditional-like?” Sabito asked.
Genghis Quack nodded.
“Another reason I’m taking you there is because out on the islands of Hundr there’s a lot of things that happen there so seeing you a rabbit who has powers won’t be too out of the ordinary,” Genghis Quack explained.
Sabito looked ahead. “I see, so this place kinda has an aura about it?” Sabito asked.
“That’s right,” he said.
Sabito and Genghis Quack soon entered a town.
Sabito looked around. “What are we doing in this town?” he asked.
Genghis Quack quickly remembered the talks he had with Minetaka back in the day.
*Flashback*
Genghis Quack and Minetaka were in a tavern in the small town chatting.
“How’s the young rabbit’s progression?” Genghis Quack asked.
“It’s coming along nicely having a rival really does help after all,” Minetaka said as he took a sip of his drink.
“Heh, I told you,” Genghis Quack said.
“I gotta introduce Sabito to the water again,” Minetaka said.
“What do you mean again?” Genghis Quack asked as he took a sip of his drink.
Minetaka sighed a bit. “Sabito, had problems over at the river,” he said.
“I don’t know what’s going on with him,” Minetaka said.
“Did you talk to Elder Rabbit about it?” Genghis Quack asked.
“Yeah, but she says it’s just the timing but I think it’s something else,” Minetaka said.
“The poor boy already gets bullied for being allergic to carrots,” Minetaka said.
Genghis Quack raised an eyebrow. “I honestly thought that was a joke,” he said.
Minetaka shook his head. “No, it’s not that he nearly had an episode last night around dinner time, but this river thing is a bit different,” Minetaka added.
“He might not be a good swimmer,” Genghis Quack said.
Genghis Quack looked at Minetaka. “Or he might be afraid of the water,” he said.
Minetaka glanced over at Genghis Quack.
“You know you rabbits don’t swim,” Genghis Quack said.
“That is true, but we have to go against the grain if we want to survive like if rabbit burrow floods then we’ll be prepared to survive but I’m worried that Sabito won’t be able to be around water without fearing it,” Minetaka explained.
“Hey, well when the time is right I’ll help him out. I mean ducks are better at training people in the water anyway,” Genghis Quack said as Minetaka looked at him.
“That’s true, brother,” Minetaka said as they toast and begin drinking.
*Flashback Ended*
Genghis Quack looked at Sabito.
“I have to tell you something important,” Genghis Quack said.
Sabito looked at Genghis Quack. “What is it?” Sabito asked.
Genghis Quack and Sabito stood in front of a boat.
“We gotta take a boat to the islands of Hundr,” Genghis Quack said.
Sabito looked at the boat and the water. “Ugh! I HATE water but I want and NEED this training to understand this crazy power so I can’t be picky about how we travel,” Sabito said as he followed Genghis Quack onto the boat.
