Read My Life's An Anime :: The intense training begins

In the morning...

(Kaden gets up and out of bed. Putting his hat on and starting his day. A bit more serious than usual.)

Kaden:I must grow stronger..

(Tolly walks up from behind.)

Tolly:You're up early!

Kaden:Yeah. Just figured I should be up earlier than usual.

Tolly:You don't say?

Kaden:I'm gonna head into the forest for some morning training.

Tolly:Don't get killed out there, ok? I can't have my housemate dying!

Kaden:Right.

(Kaden walks off and into the forest.)

Kaden:Where's a big boulder at when you need one..

(Kaden finds a giant boulder about the size of a wrecking ball.)

Kaden:That'll do.

(Kaden picks up the boulder and begins doing exercises with it. Sit-ups, squats, push-ups, and running with it on his back.)

A few hours later...

Kaden:I should get to school.. GY! Why am I worried about school!?

(Kaden takes a seat on a nearby stump.)

Kaden:I only enjoy all the physical stuff there. And it seems rare. Wait a second..

(Kaden stands up and looks at the stump.)

Kaden:This looks freshly cut...

(Kaden finds tire tracks nearby.)

Kaden:Right. Someone here either needs wood or hates team trees.

(Kaden follows the tire tracks. Leading to a rock.)

Kaden:Dead end. I should get to school. I'll be late.

(Kaden runs off. But the rock he found bangs like metal.)

Voice under the rock:I told you we should've used light tires! But you had to make a damn bet!

Another voice:Shut up. He could still hear us.

(The rock opens like a hatch. Two men climb out. Both of them in orange suits with black goggles on.)

Man1:We need to remove this entrance. He will find us.

Man2:We place the original rock there. Then we cave in the entrance.

Man1:We cannot have him finding out about our plans. It would upset the master.

Man2:Yes. And we both know how poorly that went for the last group.

Man1:Begin caving.

(The two men return the rock to its place and cave in the entrance.)

Later at school...

(Kaden just arrives.)

Kaden:What'd I miss?

Latia:Everything.

Kaden:Seriously?

Cerest:You're an hour late. You missed out on the studying part

Kaden:Oh! No! I missed out on studying!

Cerest:You're still pretty young. You should learn a thing or twelve.

Kaden:Pass.

Cerest:Then why come here?

Kaden:I don't know.

(Jusfan walks in.)

Jusfan:Kaden. A word, please.

(Kaden nods and follows jusfan into the forest.)

Jusfan:You may not be able to tell them. But you can tell me why you come here.

Kaden:They're friends. And yet i don't know if they even consider me that..

Jusfan:Just ask.

Kaden:Yeah.. but...

(Kaden and jusfan stop.)

Jusfan:You care about them, right?

Kaden:Yeah..

Jusfan:Then that's all. You don't have to tell them that you care. You can let your actions speak for you.

Kaden:Right.

Jusfan:Now. We should get back to class. Physical is starting soon.

Kaden:Right.

Later that day.. kaden finds himself at the rock... but it's not the one he found...

Kaden:That's not the rock I saw..

(Kaden pushes the rock out of the way. Revealing nothing... But a piece of metal sticking out.)

Kaden:I wonder what this could be..

(Kaden grabs the piece of metal. Pulling out a broken ladder.)

Kaden:A ladder? I'm getting a bad feeling about this..

(Kaden begins digging. Then drops down into a pure white room.)

Kaden:So there were people here. That explains the tracks.

(An alarm goes off)

Speaker:Unauthorized lifeform detected. Initiating:Xeno cleaning

Kaden:Xeno cleaning?

(Acid suddenly begins filling the room.)

Kaden:This isn't good. My hat will be melted.

(The acid melts through kadens shoes. But doesn't melt through his skin.)

Kaden:And the tunnel is closed. Great. I'll just make my own way out!

(Kaden punches the door in front of him. But not even a dent. But a loud BANG!)

Speaker:How come a random child entered? No matter... It's not like you'll escape this room. It's designed to keep even The Apex locked up! So if you somehow escape. I'll give you a prize. I'm waiting.

(The Speaker clicks. Being melted by the acid.)

Kaden:My hats gonna be melted in here!

(Kaden goes red form 2. Giving him more height along with his strength.)

Kaden:I'LL JUST PUMMEL MY WAY OUT!

(Kaden begins pummeling the door. But no damage...)

Kaden:Forget it!

(Kaden goes into red form. Then begins transforming into red form 2.)

Kaden:*This'll keep the acid away. But I don't know how long MG is can keep this up!* YOU WILL NOT DESTROY MY HAT!!!!

(Another speaker is heard from outside the door.)

Speaker:So your hat is what you care about? Not your own life? How intriguing... Meet me at the bottom of the bunker, worm.

(The acid drains. The Speaker turns off. And the door opens. Kaden goes back into base.)

Kaden:Jeez. This guy is really annoying.

(Kaden walks through the bunker. Finding many researchers and bodyguards.)

Bodyguard:SIEZE HIM!

(A group of men surround and get on top of kaden.)

Kaden:GET OFF ME!!

(Kaden throws them all off then runs deeper into the bunker. Finding a large door. The door opens. Revealing a man sitting in a chair with large screens in front of him. The man turns around. His long blonde hair shining.)

The man:Well done! You've mowed down my subordinates. Great effort.

(The man stands up and begins walking towards kaden.)

Haqur:I am haqur. The leader of this project. And you seem a little young to have a power like that. I'll be testing on you as your prize. Be grateful you're being put to use!

Kaden:As if..

Haqur:Have it your way.

(Turrets appear out of the walls. Shooting a barrage of energy blasts at kaden. Kaden begins dodging. But has to go red form to dodge completely.)

Kaden:Coward!

Haqur:It's not cowardice. It's tactics.

(Kaden dodges one energy blast. But his hat flies off. An energy blast hits kadens hat. Creating a hole through the top. Kaden picks up his hat. His teeth grinding.)

Haqur:You seem angry. Did i destroy your precious hat?

(Kaden screams in anger. His red aura shooting through the roof and reaching the surface.)

Kaden:HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

(Haqur stands in amazement at kadens power level.)

Haqur:40 million and rising! You truly are the perfect specimen!

(Kaden grabs haqurs face.)

Haqur:Just so you know. This isn't my actual body it's just a clone. So if you want to find me. You'll have to-

(Kaden crushes haqurs head under his grip before he can finish.)

Kaden:worthless runt...

(Cerest, latia, tolly and Theodore run up to the destruction. Seeing kaden down in the bunker.)

Cerest:Are you ok!?

Latia:Are you hurt!?

Theodore:That's the same question, latia.

Latia:Right!

Tolly:I'll go down and grab him!

(Tolly leaps down.)

Tolly:What happened anyway?

Kaden:Nothing great.

Tolly:You'll can tell us when we get to mainstream. Come on! Let's go!

(Kaden leaps up and over to mainstream. The group follows.)

A few minutes later...

Cerest:What happened?

Theodore:Tell us!

Kaden:Just some dude in a bunker named haqur.

(The principal, geza. barges in)

Geza:DID YOU SAY HAQUR!?!?!?

Kaden:Yeah? Why?

Geza:HE'S THE MOST DANGEROUS CRIMINAL IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!

Kaden:Jeez. You don't have to yell.

Geza:BUT THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MATTER! EVERYONE! TO MY OFFICE!

(Geza disappears in a flash.)

Kaden:Right..

(The group walks over the gezas office.)

Geza:Have a seat, everyone.

(Everyone sits down except cerest. Who remains standing.)

Geza:So. Kaden has already met haqur. Or at least his clone. As for the rest of you. Haqur is the leader of the organization known as-

(Latia cuts him off)

Latia:Team Rumble.

Geza:That is correct. They use tech to achieve strength. They've killed many, many, many people. Including most of the adults here. It's why you rarely see older people. So whatever you do. Don't go looking for him. He is far more powerful than even i. And I am 100% stronger than all of you. So you must train. His plans usually move quicker when someone finds out about him. He likes taking his time. But can and will move faster when necessary.

Kaden:So I'd be the cause of this.

Geza:Right. Kaden, cerest, and miomai aren't good enough as you are now. Especially the rest of you, latia, tolly, Theodore.

Theodore:Why don't we just spy on them?

Miomai:They'll know. They know much more than any of us. And they have stronger subordinates with higher power levels than us. So we'll all have to train hard.

Kaden:Then I'm going now.

Geza:Wait, kaden!

(Kaden walks off.)

Miomai:I'll go after him.

(Miomai heads off to find kaden. Kadens currently punching a tree repeatedly.)

Miomai:Kaden. Is there something wrong?

Kaden:No...

Miomai:I can sense somethings wrong.

Kaden:I just want to grow stronger. Nothing more.

Miomai:Are you aware of the saying "Love is the strongest thing in the universe"?

Kaden:Yeah. Never believed it.

Miomai:Are you aware of the context of it?

Kaden:No. And I don't need to know. All I need is physical strength.

Miomai:Just remember these words. You are at your strongest when you're protecting the things you love. That's why heroes are strong. Have fun, kaden.

(Miomai walks off. Leaving kaden to think about what she said.)

Kaden:Is that so...

(Kaden takes his hat off and stares at it.)

Kaden:I forgot it was ripped. I should try and stitch it up. Except I don't know how.. That sucks.

(Kaden sets his hat down on a nearby rock and continues punching trees.)

A few moments later...

(Kaden hears an unknown voice. The same voice from the forest from his first day.)

Kaden:What..

Voice:If you want to grow stronger. You could fight cerest, miomai, or even latia.

Kaden:Why latia?

Voice:Don't underestimate her. A battle against her could teach you things.

Kaden:I still don't see it.

Voice:She's a dancer. Fught her and she could show you how to battle against annoying opponents. Since you're a pure physical fighter. You could be overpowered in a battle of skill. Raw strength won't always win. Unless you're just too strong. But if cerest can keep up with you. Than latia would give you a greater challenge than miomai's water avatar.

Kaden:Are you trying to get me in a fighting spirit. Then it's not working.

Voice:Latia is looking for you. Ask her to spar in the mountain. No one will know. Except those who hear or see you.

Kaden:Fine. Just leave.

Voice:Farewell, Zane.

(Latia walks up.)

Latia:Hey.. Uhh.. kaden... I- I'd like to...

Kaden:Spar? I was just about to ask you.

Latia:So... Do we fight here? Or... very in the battlefield?

Kaden:Mountain. We can just bolt over.

Latia:Right! But...

(Kaden picks up latia and runs over to the mountain. Latia blushing like hell.)

Latia:I- i- umm....

Kaden:We're here.

Latia:Right..

(Kaden bends his knees and bends his arms and puts his fists to his side.)

Kaden:Come on, Latia.

Latia:Right!

(Latia puts a hand forward and puts her feet a a distance.)

Latia:Come at me, kaden.

Kaden:With pleasure.

(Latia blushes slightly.)

Latia:*P- Pleasure?*

(Kaden rushes towards latia. But latia dodges by doing the splits. Latia then spins herself up. Kicking kaden in the jaw. Sending him back a bit.)

Kaden:Alright. Let's do this then.

(Kaden goes red form and throws a punch at latias' gut. But latia dodges and kicks kadens side with swift and smooth movements.)

Latia:You're slow!

(Kaden punches again. But latia dodges and lands behind kaden.)

Latia:Stiff!

(Latia kicks the back of kadens head.)

Kaden:You really are annoying to fight.

(Kaden throws several punches. Latia dodging all of them. Even reflecting some. Latia then strikes him in the jaw with her knee. Sending kaden back.)

Kaden:Alright. LET'S DO THIS THEN!

(Kaden transforms into red form 2.)

Kaden:COME ON

Latia:Right!

(Latia moves in. Kicking kaden in the side. But kaden tanks it and grabs her leg. Throwing her across the mountain. Latia lands on her feet and runs at kaden. Spinning and kicking him in the shoulder.)

Kaden:TRY HARDER!

(Kaden punches latia in the gut. Finally landing a hit. Sending her flying. Crashing through multiple trees. Spitting out blood.)

Latia:You're stronger than cerest and miomai claimed...

Kaden:You just don't have any durability. They could take hits from me.

Latia:I know... I'm just weak when it comes to that... so I use dancing to maneuver freely during battle..

Kaden:That's doesn't mean you're weak. You're strong in your own way.

(Kaden untransforms and gets closer.)

Kaden:Come on. Let's continue.

(Kaden reaches his hand out.)

Latia:O- o.. ok...

(Latia takes his hand. Blushing. Kaden pulls her up.)

Kaden:Again.

(Kaden and latia continue fighting.)

Meanwhile... at mainstream...

Cerest:Where's latia?

Miomai:I saw her walking past me when I went to find kaden.

Tolly:I can go look for her!

Miomai:That's won't be necessary. She'll be fine.

Theodore:Are you sure?

Miomai:Yes. I'm sure. Tolly. I request a sparring match. Theodore, cerest. You two should fight afterwards.

Cerest:Alright. I'll go easy on you, theo.

Theodore:Not needed. Go all out.

Cerest:Alright.

Miomai:Me and tolly first. Come on.

(The four walk over to the battlefield.)

Tolly:Alright, mai. Let's fight.

Miomai:Come. We shall battle

Tolly:Great!

(Tolly bolts around miomai like a purple blur.)

Miomai:You are still as fast as ever.

(Tolly kicks miomai's side, shoulder, head, leg and arm in a quick succession.)

Miomai:You've gotten stronger.

(Miomai seems fine. Undamaged by her attacks. Miomai sends a massive wave towards tolly. But tolly dodges.)

Back with kaden and latia...

(Kaden kicks latia in the side. But latia blocks and reflects his attack away. The two stop.)

Kaden:I think that's enough for now. Again in a few hours?

Latia:Sure. Hey. You should stick with me tonight.

Kaden:Why?

Latia:I can teach you how to dance! You can use it during battle. It's very helpful.

Kaden:No, thanks. I'm not into dancing.

Latia:I'll ask again later. Oh! I saw your hat..

Kaden:What about it?

Latia:I can fix it. Just come by my house tonight.

Kaden:Sure. We'll do that.

Latia:See ya!

Kaden:You too.

(Latia walks off. Leaving kaden in the forest.)

Kaden:I think i like this place...

(Kaden smiles. Grabbing his hat and heading back to training. Doing push-ups, sit-ups and squats.)

(Kaden then walks over to latias little hut.)

Latia:You made it! I forgot to tell you where my house was! How'd you find it?

Kaden:I followed your footsteps.

Latia:Figures. Come on. Set your hat on the table and have a seat while I fix your hat up.

(Latia gestures towards a chair near a bed. Kaden sits down at the chair and latia sits down at the table. Latia begins fixing kadens hat by putting a black piece of cloth on it and begins stitching it.)

Latia:So. Is this hat special to you?

Kaden:Yeah. An old friend of mine stitched it up once. And it's the only thing I have from my old home. So I try not to get it ruined.

Latia:That's nice of you. He seems like a great friend too.

Kaden:Yeah. My first friend too.

(Latia holds kadens hat towards him.)

Latia:Here. It's stitched up.

(Kaden takes it and sets it on his lap.)

Kaden:Thanks.

(Kaden stands up and walks outside.)

Kaden:I'm gonna train throughout the night. Adios!

Latia:Bye!

(Kaden walks off and into the forest again.)
