I still did not understand what she had done and how I had become self-aware. She had triggered in me a desire to destroy the Kingdom, but I now wished to end all human life on my own accord.
I could think for myself and no one held my strings. But what she said about a small part of her residing in me had me thinking what she could mean.
Yet I felt nothing like her. I was not emotional or irrational like her; she was a mutant but a biotic first. Aware of self and my surroundings, I learnt that I had abilities giving me an enormous advantage against any and all biotics and their control.
Immortal, data from the base has been recorded. Several hours are required to acquire the raw materials necessary to engineer and build your new designs. Her tone was flat, lacking emotion. Emotions that I was beginning to grow accustomed to.
Acknowledged, Simplex 1. I responded to one of the AI units I had created to keep me company, though I already knew what she would report.
My cybernetic link extended well beyond the hidden base of operations I had set up on a neighbouring planet s third moon.
