Lady Thyra stepped outside to see Genghis Quack and Sabito.
“I see you’ve made it,” Lady Thyra said as Genghis Quack.
“Yes, Lady Thyra,” Genghis Quack said with respect.
Lady Thyra nodded. “Good, because we need a favor from you, and your student there,” she said.
“You need a favor from us?” Genghis Quack asked.
Lady Thyra nodded. “Yes, we’ve been facing a lot of trouble in villages lately,” she explained.
“Who’s been giving this place trouble? Surely you guys are strong enough to catch this threat,” Sabito looked over at Lady Thyra.
“You would think, right? But no, we weren’t able to catch the person. It seems every time we get a lead on where this person or thing strikes, we are always two or three steps behind,” Lady Thyra explained.
Sabito looked at Genghis Quack. “I think we should help them,” he said as Genghis Quack looked surprised.
“Before I found you, Master Genghis Quack, I solemnly swore that I would protect the world from evil people or things like Lord Magnus so no one goes through the same thing I endured,” Sabito explained.
Genghis Quack nodded. “I agree, we should help them,” Genghis Quack said.
“I knew this young rabbit was different,” Genghis Quack thought.
Sabito looked at Lady Thyra. “Can you take us to one of the places this mysterious person or thing hit?” Sabito asked.
Lady Thyra looked at her Hundr Warriors.
They all nodded. “Of course,” Lady Thyra said.
“Lady Thyra, let’s take them to Freya Village, that's one of the recent places our mysterious attacker hit,” Elder Frode said.
Birger nodded. “I agree,” he said.
“Okay, we’ll lead the way, young rabbit, you and Genghis Quack follow us. I have no doubt you can keep up with us,” Lady Thyra explained.
Sabito and Genghis Quack nodded.
Lady Thyra and her Hundr warriors began making their way over to Freya Village with Sabito and Genghis Quack following them.
Sabito’s ears perked up and he started to sniff.
Genghis Quack looked at Sabito. “What’s going on?” he asked.
“I can sense something terrible, it's almost like something I’ve never sensed before,” Sabito explained.
Genghis Quack looked ahead. “Hmm, interesting so you are able to sense it,” Genghis Quack said.
Sabito nodded. “Yeah I am, it also scares me a bit because I can’t tell if it’s a porian or not and if it’s not a porian then what could it be?” Sabito asked.
Gunnar looked back at Sabito. “You’re not a dog yet you’re able to sense something so far away how?” Gunnar asked.
“Hmmm, I’ve been able to do that for a long time,” Sabito explained.
“Could it be a result of your power?” Gunnar asked.
Sabito looked surprised that he knew about his power. “You know about my ability?” he asked.
Gunnar nodded. “Yeah, we all know about your power. Genghis Quack there sent us a message from Miguel, a messenger crow a few days ago,” Gunnar explained.
Sabito folded his arms. “Yeah, I remember now,” he said.
“To answer your question about my ability, I think so, I mean I haven’t used much power because I’m not able to bring out the power so Genghis Quack kinda made me be mindful when I enter battle until we learn more about my ability. I’m guessing that’s why he brought me here because you guys know a little something about power,” Sabito explained.
Gunnar looked ahead. “Yeah, we do,” he said.
“Before we think about my power let’s deal with this threat you guys are dealing with,” Sabito said as they made it to Freya Village.
Sabito looked over at the destruction.
Sabito saw a quick flash of his former Rabbit Burrow.
Sabito clenched his fists.
“Your mysterious attacker…Did this?” Sabito asked.
Elder Frode nodded. “Yeah, it happened not too long ago,” he said with a bit of sadness in his voice.
Genghis Quack looked around.
“You’re telling me one person did all this?” Genghis Quack asked.
Gunnar nodded. “Yeah,” he said with anger slipping into his voice.
Sabito glanced over at Elder Frode.
“This was your home wasn’t it?” Sabito asked.
Elder Frode nodded. “Yeah, it was and now it’s nothing more than a memory,” he said.
“Did you get any information on what happened and why it happened?” Sabito asked.
Elder Frode nodded. “The person is after something that must be in one of these villages and that’s all I know. There is something else too,” he said as Sabito raised an eyebrow.
“The attacker has claws or a sharp weapon because before the last survivor dissolved I saw slash marks across his chest,” Elder Frode explained.
Genghis Quack looked at Sabito. “A lot of black aura around here too. I haven't seen this in 14 years,” Genghis Quack said.
Sabito and the Hundr warriors looked at Genghis Quack. “You’ve seen this before?” Sabito asked.
“Well, I encountered it before, which is more correct,” Genghis Quack said.
*Flashback*
A slightly younger Genghis Quack was walking through the woods of the Noah Forest when suddenly a foul scent hit his nose.
Genghis Quack had his right hand near his katana, ready for anything as he proceeded with caution.
Genghis Quack narrowed his eyes.
Over near the Noah River, black aura began to form.
The sky began to get dark as Genghis Quack looked up at the sky.
“What the?” Genghis Quack looked ahead and saw the black aura forming near the river.
He quickly took off running.
Genghis Quack soon made it as the black aura was nothing more than liquid.
“Whatever formed from this must be gone but what is it?” Genghis Quack thought to himself.
The black aura suddenly flew up and dispersed in different directions, leaving Genghis Quack puzzled.
*Flashback Ended*
“I honestly didn’t see what formed from the black aura. Heck, I don’t even know where it came from,” Genghis Quack said.
Sabito looked at the destruction. “Whatever it is, we need to stop it from destroying another village,” he said.
Sabito looked over at Lady Thyra.
“Lady Thyra, do you know the places that have been hit by this mysterious force?” Sabito asked.
Lady Thyra turned to face Sabito. “Odin Village and Freya Village have been so far,” Lady Thyra said.
Sabito nodded. “Then we need to get to the next village before this mysterious force does,” Sabito said.
Gunnar looked at Sabito. “We don’t even know what we’re up against,” Gunnar said.
“Well, while we don’t know what or who this mysterious force is, it's better to go in guns blazing rather than risk another village’s destruction because of hesitation,” Sabito explained as Lady Thyra looked at him because it reminded her of her father when she was younger.
*Flashback*
Lady Thyra’s father Ivar joined the original Hundr warriors in battle.
A 14-year-old Thyra grabbed her father’s arm.
“Daddy! You don’t know what you’re up against,” Thyra said.
Ivar looked ahead. “It’s better to go into unprepared than to risk the lives of more innocent people,” he said as he ran into battle.
*Flashback Ended*
Lady Thyra looked at Gunnar. “The young rabbit is right, we can’t risk more deaths,” Lady Thyra said.
Elder Frode nodded. “I agree,” Elder Frode said.
Genghis Quack looked at Lady Thyra.
“What village is close to this one?” Genghis Quack asked.
Lady Thyra’s eyes narrow. “Loki Town,” she said.
Sabito nodded. “Then let’s get going,” Sabito said.
The Hundr Warriors nodded. “RIGHT!” they all shouted.
Genghis Quack and The Hundr Warriors took off running while Sabito hopped in full speed to Loki Town.
On the hill, the figure took off his cloak to reveal a black fur wolf wearing a sleeve black and red gi with long pants.
There was a cut over his right eye and he was holding a giant axe.
A sinister smirk appeared on his face.
“Time to meet the locals,” the black fur wolf said as he howled.
