Narajkul strode purposefully into a luxurious, centrally located restaurant, where the air was thick with the faint, expensive scent of diffused aromatherapy. The moment he crossed the towering threshold, Ornicha, a slender woman with a short bob, rushed forward and clung to him in a rapid embrace, utterly ignoring the dozen pairs of eyes watching them. The glittering sequins of her costly attire shone vividly against the soft, amber lighting, enhancing her flawless figure.
"Narach, I misses you," she cooed, leaning her head against his shoulder.
Narajkul, however, unclenched her hands from his body with cold indifference, walking quickly past her like a sudden draft of air.
"Don't you miss me?" the restaurant owner asked, scrambling to keep pace. But the man did not even glance her way, treating her as if she were thin air.
"A table for two," Narajkul stated in a deep, firm voice, his expression impassive. Ornicha was a woman deeply, hopelessly infatuated with Narajkul, pursuing him for years, yet never managing to capture his heart; he never opened himself to any woman.
"Of course. I'll arrange it right away," Ornicha replied, signaling her staff to escort Narajkul to the VIP section—a private room reserved only for pre-booked, significant guests. For Narajkul, however, it was a special exception granted willingly by the owner just for the asking.
"Narach!"
A voice called out. A tall, honey-skinned man with sharp, handsome features—like a television leading man—hurriedly stopped directly in front of Narajkul.
"Hello, Wut," Narajkul greeted him with a rare, faint smile.
Wuthipong, this gentle and soft-spoken man, was one of the few university juniors Narajkul still maintained a friendship with. Wuthipong ran a small but successful business specializing in flowers and various plants in the city center. While his own venture wasn't large, he was also independently wealthy from his family’s silk export business.
Wuthipong and Narajkul had not seen each other for some time, making this sudden reunion a moment of genuine warmth.
