But before I could even open my mouth, my uncle said, "You stay here! You’ll wait until your leg is healed. I would never forgive myself if you didn’t survive your mission because of this." And so, I spent the evening with Dante. He told me how they had found me. "We were looking for some wild game to replenish our supplies." I hugged him and said, "I’m so glad you found me." My gratitude brought a smile to his face. "So are we. You’re staying, right? At least until your leg is healed, right?" I nodded. How could I say no to that hopeful look in my cousin’s eyes? Of course, I would stay... or would I? What about my mission? Shouldn’t I finish it as soon as possible? Suddenly, I wasn’t so sure anymore. Wasn’t my mission too important to rest? After my conversation with Dante and proper treatment for my leg, I went to a secluded part of the bunker. Water was dripping from the ceiling, and in one of the puddles on the stone floor, I stared at my reflection.
