After the brutal battle against Maksuki Kirima, Kijotsu lies unconscious among the ruins of Fenralis. His body is burned and bloodied, the diamond in his chest dimly glowing.
Notsu is gravely injured elsewhere, unable to fight, while Kinata and Leenka rush to Kijotsu’s side.
Days later, Kijotsu awakens in a small wooden room — Kinata’s home. She’s been taking care of him, tending to his wounds. Her kind smile and soft voice make him feel at peace for the first time in a long while.
As Kijotsu recovers, he begins having strange visions — seeing glimpses of a burning red sky, a black sword, and a voice whispering:
> “The diamond remembers… and it will soon consume you.”
Kinata comforts him, saying he should rest and not think too much about it. But when Kijotsu falls asleep again, Kinata’s expression turns serious.
She opens a drawer revealing a strange black crystal pulsing faintly — the same energy that came from Maksuki’s sword.
Outside, the city of Fenralis is silent, covered by a pale eclipse glow. A mysterious symbol briefly burns on Kijotsu’s chest — the Mark of Kaen — hinting that something deeper has awakened inside him.
The episode ends with Kinata watching Kijotsu sleep. She whispers softly:
> “Forgive me… when the time comes.”
Her voice is calm, but her eyes shimmer for a split second — a faint, unnatural purple.
