Two Hours Later

I stared at the ceiling as I waited for Stevie to come back. Originally I was going to escape, but I felt bugging her would be more entertaining and less work. Which topic should I tease her about this time? Perhaps my doctor? She seemed to have some type of romantic interest in him. I can tell by the way she looks at him. My door opened causing me to close my eyes.

“And then she hung up. I couldn’t believe it.” One feminine voice said.

“Well, you asked her if she wanted to be with my brother. Of course she would have hung up.” Another feminine voice said.

“And now he is this man's doctor. The one Celeste brother told us was her boyfriend.” The first feminine voice said.

“To think that they were mugged. At least he was there to save her.” A third feminine voice said.

“Yeah…but he looks fami- I know that damn handsome ass face from anywhere. It's the same guy from the game-” A gasp stopped the first woman from talking.

“Stevie”

Stevie’s P.O.V.

I stood in the doorway of Luan's hospital room in shock. How did Z, Celeste, and Isela get in here? Matter a fact, how did they even know about Luan being here?

“Stevie, we can explain-” Isela started.

“My brother told us about your boyfriend and the mugging. We tried calling all day, but you were not answering your phone, so we went to check on you both,” Celeste said. Her brother told her? I want to be surprised but I can't be. He is her brother and they have a good bond. It is to be expected.

“And then we saw who your boyfriend really is-” I quickly went into the room behind me and closed the door before Z could finish. “So, how did Luan escape the game?”

“He's a guy who-”

“I know damn well that is him. I stared at his ass multiple times to know. Especially during those scenes in the wood-”

“Z!” The three of us said.

Luan’s P.O.V.

So everyone in the world saw my sex life huh? What kind of fucked up shit is this?

“So tell me this, did you finally lose your half virginity to-”

“I did not sleep with him,” Stevie said. I peeked at the women today and saw Stevie in front of them with a large blush on her face.

“Oh come on. This handsome man from a video game is here. The way the game ended, it had been a year since he had had a woman's touch. Then he is here, and with a beautiful, kind, and curvy woman who I know by no doubt finds him sexy. You can't tell me you are not interested in-”

“No”

“Not even a little?”

Stevie’s P.O.V.

Handsome or not, I don't plan to go through anything like that with him. A deep chuckle caught our ears causing us to turn and look at Luan. He was now sitting up, yet his focus laid on me.

Fuck

What is he going to say? There is no doubt he heard our conversation. “So, let me get this straight. You are still a virgin, Stevie?” My eyes widened.

“She is, but I mean look at her, she's beautiful right?” Z said, egging him on.

“She is, but that explains so much.” My brows furrowed.

The hell is that supposed to mean?

 I folded my arms and leaned my weight to the side. “Explain,” I said.

“The way you acted with that doctor-”

Luan’s P.O.V.

Stevie ran over to me and covered my mouth. “Give me five seconds and you will be out-” before she could finish whispering to me I took her hand and pulled her closer to me. Her blush formed and spread across her cheeks.

“But, then again, I have seen how flustered you get with me Stevie. I find it cute.”

“Screw you,” Stevie whispered.

“I love that fire you get.” I stared at her in her eyes. “It's what makes me fall for you even more.” She now looked beyond pissed.

Stevie’s P.O.V.

I can't believe he is doing this! And to make matters worse it actually looks like he is just being romantic and not snarky. I will show him snarky.

“You talk like you already had a taste.” My face reddened at what I said, but I didn't break away from Luan’s eyes. I wanted him to feel the same way I did.

“Oh my gosh.” Z said, bringing me back. I looked at the three to see Z in shock, Celeste with her mouth agape, and Isela with a sweet smile.

“Believe me baby, the moment you say go, I will.” My eyes widened. I looked back at Luan to see him with a smirk.

“You really are aching for me, huh?”

Celeste cleared her throat. “Hey, we will be back. I just saw my brother in the hallway.

“Yeah, I have a few questions to ask him,” Isela said. I looked at the three.

“Okay,” Isela and Celeste started to leave, but seeing Z not budging, Celeste grabbed her hand and pulled her out, closing the door behind her.”

“So your friends now know I am a part of a game.” I looked at Luan. “And they also think we are dating.” I scoffed and broke free from his grip. “Are you still angry at me?”

“Yes,”

“Hm, I thought you were interested.” My brows knitted.

That's it!

I went for his pillow and climbed on top of him. He tried to grab it from me but due to his injury, it was hard for him. The sound of his heart rate had been loud, but neither of us focused on it, until a gasp made us stop. I turned my head to see Celeste, Isela, Z, and Celeste’s brother in the doorway. Almost everyone seemed in shock except Z who had a smirk on her face. Luan placed his hands on my waist.

“You need to get some rest. It's been a whole,” he said, trying to play everything off, but it all looked so wrong.

“Is everything-” Celeste's brother started.

“It's fine. I got flustered with Stevie being on top of me. I wanted her to lay on me, but she wanted to lay beside me,” he said.
