Twisted Vow

Recovery part 2.

Recovery part 2.

Nov 07, 2025

Hina slowly pulled away. A small yet devious smile broke through her trauma.

“So.” She said, trying to lighten the mood. “Why was Ren sleeping in Furayu’s arms and Inoue on the floor?”

Inoue’s head snapped.

“I didn’t want to bring it up while you were having a moment with your dad.” She said, her tone thoughtful and gentle. “But if it’s alright with you?

“I don’t mind.” Hina nodded happily, waiting for the show to begin.

“Furayu.” Inoue sharply muttered.

“What.” he groaned, still half-asleep.

“Why did you push me off the sofa and take the space for yourself?” She growled.

“I didn’t!” Furayu protested, sitting up straight.

“Poor Ren had to curl up on the edge because of you.” Inoue snapped. “Selfish brat.”

“Okay… from what I remember we all agreed we’d share the sofa and I was on the far left with you on the far right and Ren in the middle.” Furayu calmly recalled, trying to salvage the situation.

“So you’re telling me Ren pushed me off?” Inoue’s voice rose in anger. “Don’t lie to me.”

“No of cours-”

“I’ve seen you preying on Ren. Just because she’s innocent and sweet.” Inoue cutting off Furayu, creating a distance between him and Ren by pulling her away.

“Just leave me alone.” Furaya defensively whispered.

“No. Until you leave Ren alone.” Her tone got harsher by the word.

“Ugh… it’s okay. Furayu is really nice.” Ren finally squeaked out.

Why do they always argue like this? It’s really frustrating.

Inoue is so kind to everyone but Furayu. Why?

“Hey Inoue.”

“Yes Ren?” Inoue replied, not taking her eyes off Furayu.

“Stop hating on Furayu every second you get please.” Ren’s voice steady, unwavering in her determination.

Inoue was caught off guard by Ren's reaction.

Huh? Why does this girl seem to be so defensive of Furayu all the time?

“Mmmmmm.” Inoue thought to herself, while tapping her chine theatrically.

Without a warning, Inoue pulled Furayu and hit him quite hard across the back.

“OW! Why did you do that?” Furayu screamed, clutching his back in pain. “Are you genuinely insane!?”

Hina and her dad watched on stunned.

“Don’t interrupt dad. This is gold.” She smiled, a smug grin appeared on her face.

Her dad was confused but nodded, silently agreeing to enjoy the show.

“Don’t hit Furayu like that!” Ren cried, louder than expected from the quiet Ren.

“Oho~ a reaction.” Inoue grinned devilishly. “Now I get it.”

She shuffled her way next to Ren, close enough to whisper..

“Oh don’t worry darling. I’ll help you. In fact, I’ll really help you.” Inoue whispered.

Ren’s face exploded with a bright pink spread across her face.

“O-Okay…” She murmured.

Someone like Inoue… helping me? Get Furayu!

Her mind spun, filled with fluttering excitement and dreams and fantasies to be fulfilled.

Across the room, Hina watched on.

“Yep.” She whispered to her dad. “They’ve just declared a war of love over Furayu haven’t they?”

“Lucky boy, he has two girls fighting over him.” Hina’s dad whispered back in agreement, almost admiring the harem-like chaos he and his daughter were spectating over.

Meanwhile, Furayu had already made his way back to the sofa, clearly fed up with everything and trying to sneak in another nap. Slowly drifting off to a nice, deep slum-

“Furayu.” Inoue’s voice sliced through his tranquility.

“Hi.” Furayu mumbled back, already regretting responding.

“Off the sofa. Go get food. Now.” Inoue demanded. “Me and Ren are staring.”

Giving Ren a little wink while Furayu rubbed his eyes awake.

“SO AM I!” Hina chimed in, throwing her arms up in the air.

Furayu groaned in defeat.

All that Hina’s dad could do was watch the poor boy suffer.

“Dragged off to hell by three devils.” He muttered under his breath. “Rest in peace, you have a long way to go.”
