Everybody paused sadly at the view of Shiver's death. They couldn't really take it anymore. Shiver's eyes remained on the top of the pond along with his mouth. "My lady." He was counting his last breath. "There is a man across the distance and far away in the lands of the desert. Go to him and never seek revenge by your own."
"Shiver, please don't go!" Tiger gasped as she dripped her hands within the water, trying to grasp his face. Yet the water dissolved into the bottom of the earth. "SHIVERRRRR!" She yelled again among the void air while sobbing. And then she dug into the ground again and grabbed the mud within her own hands and rubbed it on her face. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
"Tiger, my queen." Pinche sympathized, hugging her from the back as the triplets sat right next to her in a sign of console. The animals at the kingdom got out of their holes which were built inside the trees and the ground, as they couldn't take their own queen's torture anymore. "Listen to me. You need to regard Shiver's last words precisely into account."
"Shiver is gone, Pinche." Tiger couldn't believe herself, staring into the open space. "He is gone!" She gasped.
"Everyone has to be gone at some point." She understood. "Remember that you've put up a good fight."
"What should I just do after his death?! I am nothing without him!" She looks at her in disbelief.
"It was meant to be, Tiger." Kimba joined. "Now, it's the time that you listen carefully to Pinche and seek that man he's told you about. Remember that we are all with you as one." And then they all approach her and hug her dearily.
The scene flashes back on Dragon as a child while he was fishing in the river. He was wearing tattered clothes and walked barefoot among the woods-so usual for a child who was lonely with neither a family nor a motive. He was brought up in the woods alone with no one to just look after him. He finally caught a sardine fish right inside of his fishing rod which he has made out of thin and small branches of wood. "FINALLY!" He exclaimed, grabbing the fish with his bare right hand at once. "Got you!" He then lit some fire with stones and puts down some bamboo straws which were implanted inside of the river. And then he eats like there is no tomorrow while being grateful. "I know that the gods are watching over me." He leans down on his back after he finished, eyes turned upwards, gazing at the navy blue sky in the afternoon-while admiring the crescent of the moon and counting the countless clouds. "I'm never going to be alone anymore." He thinks to his own. Each single day, Dragon woke up in the morning, saying his early prayers. "Dear Gods, I wish that I only had parents." He then motioned to conduct his house chores as the usual. Afterwards, he wandered the aimless streets looking for a loaf a bread. He couldn't handle this shame poverty has brought into him. "I just can't take this shit anymore." Once he mumbled as he watched a family celebrating Christmas joyfully and warmly in front of the fireplace. He resented those bonds which he'd obviously never had. "Goddamn them and their families!" He observed miserably. "Why does everyone have parents except me?!" He ran down the golden streets in the Fortunate Kingdom, which has surprisingly never brought fortune on him. And then he stopped under the palm tree right in front of his cottage, taking a wild breath. "Damn it! Damn it!" He breathed harshly and deeply. "I just can't take this anymore." Then, he goes right inside of the house and pours himself some milk, which was left from the cow he has milked yesterday night from his neighbor's cow sneakily while they he was sleeping. "This tastes really good." He sipped deliciously. "Soon by tomorrow, I will have parents, indeed."
The morning stopped by as he woke up enthused without a reason, unlike always. He did his early chores and prepared hisself in order to leave his modest house. "Today is the day." He thought while enchanting. After taking a long walk down the streets, he finds a magical talent show displayed in front a blue and white tent. The Indian man played among his orange kurta and black turban, dancing his snake through the sounds of his yellow flute. He quickly spots Dragon among the massive crowd and motions for him to step forward. "Come and join me, young man!" He yells out. He could neither believe his own eyes nor his own ears as he leapt forward and joined the show. He danced his way through the air along with the snake's twirling and wavy motion. "Would you care about staying with me tonight?" The man offered him after the show ends and everyone just left. Dragon hesitates as the man could read through his reluctance. "Come on now-no one is here but us. We can make something altogether out of this jolly evening." Dragon finally accepts happily and joins him instantly. They both enter the tent as they sat on the green velvet sofa and enjoyed watching the Parrot, which has a blend of lustful colored feather.
"A stranger!" The parrot yelled out. "A boy!"
"Yes, Parrot." Said the man. "This is my new son, Dragon. Say hello to him!" He couldn't believe hisself at the refined words of the man which he has longed to hear since forever as he looked at him desperately. The man recognized the essence of the hidden powers of the malachite jewel among the tormented soul's eyes. He grabs a copper band from underneath his turban and places it on his wrest. "Take this."
"What is this?!" He exclaimed, examining the piece of art gratefully.
"It's a copper band that would help conduct electricity through your concealed malachite powers." He recalls the phase, 'once bitten, twice shy'-which he has repetitively told to hisself each time he was encountered by the cruelty of people's treatment. Yet, to his surprise, this man was much more than generous. "Look, my name is Maharaja. I live and wander the lands by my own for tens of years. And I literally have got no family. Would you care about becoming my own lawful son?" He smiles at him warmly.
This was the moment of truth which he has been eagerly waiting for years. This man is obviously bringing him luck and comfort away from the agony he's been living ever since his birth. "I don't know what to say.." He hesitated.
"Just say yes, 'Dad'." He leaned forward and hugged him strongly.
Dragon sobbed quietly as he melted among the man's embrace while his tears rushed down on his cheeks. "Yes, Dad!"
