When I tell somebody that I'm asexual, they either completely and totally forget it or it is the defining thing that they remember about me. "Oh, there goes M, she's lonely and hates to cum."

Okay, or God forbid people ask me how I know. The only way I know how to talk to people is by info-dumping. Bleh. So anyway, I end up having to tell people about the feelings I've had that look like crushes on the outside. Except it's like a crush that doesn't lead to me wanting to jump someone's bones? Like??

You know, what if I could just be somebody's something and they could expect just a little bit of different crap from me. I don't know. I'm screaming.

tl;dr – How do you tell if you're asexual and aromantic or just one or the other? SOS someone help, strangers especially welcome...
