Welcome to Character Talks, a chaotic little corner of the universe where the cast of Even If It Ends Us will occasionally be allowed out of their narrative cages to… talk.
(Or argue. Or expose themselves. Or roast me. It varies.)
Before we begin, here’s what you can expect from this series:
✨ 1. Chaotic Interviews
I, your humble author, will interview the characters.
They will answer questions.
They will also dramatically avoid answering questions.
There will be yelling.
There will be oversharing.
Someone (probably Lucy) will cry from joy or panic.
Someone (definitely Torren) will threaten me with a weapon.
Torren (off-screen): It's not a threat if you deserve it.
Author: See? This is what I mean.
✨ 2. Behind-the-Scenes Personality Drops
Things the actual book won’t tell you, like:
What Damian is always doing on his laptop
How many minutes Torren can talk about his “beloveds” before someone leaves the room
The full list of foods Lucy thinks are “mean”
Lucy: Pasta is suspicious and I stand by that.
Rein: Please stop putting your personal food anxiety into public spaces.
✨ 3. Spoiler-Free Teasing
We will not reveal spoilers.
We might heavily imply things.
We will wink suspiciously at the screen.
If a character tries to spoil something, I’ll mute them.
Damian: I literally know the future. You can't mute me.
Author: (cackling) Watch. Me.
✨ 4. Q&A Sessions (Featuring You!)
Readers will be able to submit questions for any character.
Questions may include:
“Rein, why are do you keep fainting?”
“Lucy, are you okay?”
“Damian, blink twice if you’ve seen something terrible.”
“Author, why do you torment them?”
(Answer: because it’s fun.)
✨ 5. Mini Skits & Chaos Shorts
Sometimes it won’t be an interview.
Sometimes it will be:
Torren's first day on earth
Lucy’s therapy sessions with the school nurse
Damian giving cryptic foreshadowing that helps absolutely no one
Torren: Hey! My first day on earth was awesome. I nailed it!
Author: (snickering) Yeah, it was.
✨ 6. Character Takeovers
Occasionally, a character will hijack the episode without my permission.
I apologize in advance.
Rein: We’ve already planned the first coup.
Author: …Wonderful.
✨ 7. Guest (Divine) Commentary
Yes, sometimes the gods will drop in. Please be polite. They are old and very opinionated.
Lilith, goddess of the Heavenborns (from the Temple): Old? She just called us old.
Xeris, god of Feyborns (a whisper of leaves and thorns): This generation lack the respect gods deserve.
Author: Lilith, Xeris, please do not upstage my opening monologue.
Lilith: You called us old.
Xeris: And we're not old, only ancient.
Author (sharp): Suck it.
✨ 8. Chaos, comedy, and unexpected tenderness
This series will be a place for fun, softness, teasing, lore crumbs, and character dynamics you won’t see directly in the main story.
If you’re here for:
🌟 Humor
🌟 Found-family vibes
🌟 Out-of-context drama
🌟 Characters exposing each other
🌟 Occasional emotional damage
🌟 And fourth wall disturbance
Then Character Talks is the perfect bonus series for you.
Author:
So grab a snack, sit down, and prepare for the most unstable talk show in the multiverse.
Rein: I object to being called unstable.
Author: Says Mister I fainted in front of the whole school all because the new handsome kid looked at me.
Torren: It's okay Rein, I found it charming.
Author:
…And on that note, welcome again to Character Talks.
Let the madness begin.
📌 Author’s Footnote
Main episodes of Even If It Ends Us update every:
➡️ Monday or Thursday
Character Talks episodes will appear in-between as chaotic bonuses whenever the cast behaves long enough to sit still (so… good luck to us all).
When strange dreams and stranger people start pulling at the edges of Rein’s quiet life, he learns there’s more to him—and to the three who’ve found their way into his world—than anyone was ever meant to know.
Four souls, one fate, and a love written long before any of them were born.
A slow-burn BL poly fantasy about gods, fate, and the kind of love that could end—or save—the world.
