“I want to taste all the pleasures of life through you.” The presence pulls away, awaiting my response that I consider, as my mouth parts once more.

The corners of my lips curl into a smile. “Only if I can taste them with you, too.”

A low cackle threads itself through my mind. “Very good,” the presence tells me, its voice a low and ever-so-pleased rumble. “Yvain, we are going to have loads of fun together, you and I.”

In no time, I disappear into the hands, submerged inside the darkness as they pull me into their embrace. “More?” the voice asks, which comes as a surprise—for most beings I’d ever been with never bothered to be so careful with me, a good for nothing thief.

How can such an odd spirit, be kinder than humanity?

“[CENSORED]” I gasp. “I w-want to know what it is like to [CENSORED]”

The voice chuckles again, its arms wind themselves around my [CENSORED]. “You are so hungry, little human.” I feel [CENSORED]. “Why?”

“I—” I bite down against my lower lip. “Isn’t it obvious?”

The presence [CENSORED], and I cannot focus on just one feeling anymore—they overwhelm me, [CENSORED]. Although I’d always been on edge whilst I was out here, fighting for my survival alone my whole life, here, in these arms…it is impossible, not to relax.

“I sense more is inside you than mere wanting, Yvain.” Dozens of palms [CENSORED], and I [CENSORED]. “You long for something.”

A smirk etches itself across my lips. As I tilt my head then stare into the darkness, I laugh.

“Power.” “Power.”

He echoes my words as I speak them.

“I can give all of that to you—and more, Yvain.”

Whilst the entity stills against me, I find myself groaning in protest. “This is a first for pillow talk, I’ll admit.”

The arms shift slightly around me. “What pillow?”

Right. Of course, he wouldn’t know. “Nevermind that.” I sigh. “It truly feels as if you are planning [CENSORED] for weeks at this point. Do you always tease your lovers like so?”

“Yvain,” the presence coos, whilst its hands [CENSORED]. “Be not so impatient. I am trying to make a pact with you. How could I possibly bargain with you”—two dark shadowed fingers [CENSORED]—“once you have your [CENSORED] full?”

I shut my eyes and [CENSORED], at this point, I can’t tell if I’m more [CENSORED] or frustrated. It’s probably both. “Bargain with me then, and make it quick!”

The hands [CENSORED], I do my best to concentrate on his next words, “After this ritual, after I will have [CENSORED], we will be bound together in soul—I will live through you by possessing your body, and you may feed off my power as you wish.”

I blink. His explanation makes me reconsider a tad. For a moment, I fear there might be a catch. “What if…I change my mind, one day?” I gulp. “What would become of me?”

“If that ever happens, I will unbind myself from you, and you can consider our contract fulfilled—though, I doubt you’ll ever choose to be without me, after having experienced the things I can do for you.”

“...That’s it?”

The entity laughs again. “I’ve no use for beings who lose interest in my service. Souls taste sweeter when they are willing.”

“Ah.” I shrug. “That is…fair enough.”

How glad I am to hear this entity, whoever he may be, is a considerate presence of some sorts! I really lucked out this time.

“Now then…”

Hands—all of them—begin to [CENSORED] once more.

I feel the entity readying itself to [CENSORED]. Tonight, I will receive all that I have ever wanted. My face warms, not only at the thought of discovering new [CENSORED], but new knowledge as well.

“Make your choice,” the presence whispers, its voice low, “and I will give you all the power and pleasure you seek, little human: what do you wish for?”

“I— I wish for…
