He drags me over to Amn and then starts telling us his plans for the island once it is his. It is a decent way to pass the time and fairly entertaining, it is definitely better than talking to nobles. Lin signals me as soon as I have stayed long enough that I can leave without causing offense.

As I sneak out of the party, Lin joins me and we head to our suite to have some fun. Mercy notices us leaving, but she just smiles at us, she still has Asuna with her. It seems that she is making friends among the girls who want to pet Asuna, not a bad strategy.

As the children of nobles, they would have all sorts of random knowledge that could be useful. However, my thoughts are soon derailed as Lin throws herself into my arms in an empty corridor. She couldn’t even wait until we reached the suite, but I am not about to argue with her.

Instead, I pick her up in my arms and continue walking to the suite as I kiss her. Luckily, she still has enough presence of mind to not remove any clothes until we are in the suite. However, all that goes out the window as soon as the door closes behind us.

I have no idea how much time has passed when I hear the suite’s door open, but luckily we have moved to the bedroom by then. A few minutes later, Mercy enters the bedroom and joins the two of us in bed. The two of them are not enough to exhaust me, but I certainly enjoy their attempt to.

Once the two of them are asleep in my arms, I open a soulscape, but none of my wives show up. They must be in a soulscape of their own so that they can meet with Leafa and Damona. I leave them to it and spend time with my kids, Lizzy, Koko, and Leylisha.

I create a massive maze and playground, then start up an epic game of tag with all of them. We play until the kids are completely worn out, then I close the soulscape and open another. I invite the goddesses, update them on everything, and then spend some time having fun with them.

After we are done and the goddesses have left, I try inviting my wives again, but they don’t answer. They must still be busy and I can’t help but spend a few minutes fantasizing about what they might be up to. I am just teasing myself, but I’m sure I will get a chance to play out those thoughts soon enough.

For now, I exit my meditation to check the time and find that it is still hours before dawn. Once I see that, I return to my meditation and enter into the hallway to do some exploring. The last world I found was alright, but the beasts were a little weak for my taste.

I don’t have much time right now, so I don’t plan to explore any new worlds on this visit. Instead, I am going to search out and mark doors that lead to worlds where I can visit in soul form. I want to try and get my soul to max level, which is ten, before I get distracted by other things.

I may not be able to get the level right now, but I can make some preparations with the time I do have. I keep part of my senses aimed outside the hallway, hopefully it will be enough to notice when the girls wake up. I make my way down the hallway towards where I first entered checking doors as I go.

I manage to find the doors to two more soul worlds and mark them before I feel like I am out of time. I quickly exit the hallway and I am just in time to greet my wives as they wake up. Of course, that leads to other things, but it isn’t like I am in a rush to leave for the island.

We have our fun and then leave the bedroom to have breakfast, which Asuna joins us for. As we are eating we discuss how to deal with all the slaves I am about to rescue. We don’t bother discussing the attack, my wives trust me to handle that without worry.

Asuna says “Can I come with you?”

“Well, I don’t see why not, but it will be boring. All the enemies will burn to death, you won’t get a chance to fight.”

Asuna says “I don’t care about that, I just want to spend time with you.”

“In that case, of course you can come with me.”

Asuna squeals with joy as she shifts to fox form and jumps to wrap herself around my neck. I however take my time and eat my fill, but Asuna doesn’t seem to mind and just hugs my neck. Although, pretty soon she starts stealing bits of food from my hand before I can get it to my mouth.

It quickly turns into a game with her trying to steal all of my food and me trying to just eat. Lin and Mercy find my plight to be amusing and refuse to help me at all. It takes me much longer than expected to eat my fill, but it is an amusing breakfast at least.

Once we are done eating, Lin and Mercy leave to go meet with the other rulers. I head outside, drop shapeshift, and take to the air to head out to the island again. Asuna again moves to the top of my head and uses her ice to lock herself in place for the ride.

We have only been flying for about ten minutes when we pass over two ships heading in the same direction. They quickly drop back out of sight, they can’t compare to my flying speed. It only takes another thirty minutes before the island comes within sight, but there is new activity.

I spot three ships in motion, one leaving port and two approaching port, which complicates things. I had hoped to blast all of the ships while they were docked, but that won’t work anymore. I could probably wait for the two to reach the docks, but the one leaving is a problem.

It is likely carrying slaves and I don’t want to let it get away, but attacking it would alert the port. If all the ships set sail at once I couldn’t guarantee some wouldn’t get away. It isn’t likely that they are all ready to set sail, but I don’t know that I’m willing to take the chance.

“Asuna, if I set the crew aflame and drop you on that ship, do you think you could get it back to the port?”

Asuna says “Alone? No, probably not. I learned some things about sailing when we were on Athena, but not that much. If there are slaves on board that can help me, then maybe.”

“I didn’t mean could you sail it. I was thinking more along the lines of freezing the hull and using the ice to move it.”

Asuna says “Oh! Yeah, I could totally do that!”

“Do you think you can, or know you can?”

Asuna says “I can totally do it, it will just take some time.”

“Okay, we are going to wait until the other two reach the port, then we will make our move.”

Asuna says “Okay, dad!”
