Hiro and Alania arrived at a nearby McDonald's, hungry for some fast food. There was a Japanese lady and her daughter, eating their heart disease-inducing meal. The father-adoptee duo approached. "I would like a Soy Sauce Double Burger, a 20-pc McNuggets, a large drink, and a kid's 6-pc. McNugget with a cup of mayonnaise," Hiro requested in Japanese.

The cashier, Craig, gave him the bill. "Here you go," he said, handing the purple-haired single father a large drinking cup and receipt. "Your order will be right out."

Hiro and Alania sat at a table. He sat with a back to him in case he gets stabbed. He looked at a picture of his mom in her classroom on his Smartphone, which has a Mega Gengar case.

"What do you do for work?" Alania asked.

"I work two jobs: Walmart janitor and MMA fighter." Hiro went to go get the food. "Hold on a sec."

He set the food down. "As for my Japanese dad and Azerbaijani mom, Dad's my MMA coach; Mom's a kindergarten teacher at Tōtsuki International. My fraternal grandparents are retired. Before they retired, Grandma worked as a manager at a Walmart; whereas Grandpa served in the Japanese navy. My maternal grandparents died before I was born. My maternal grandmother had cancer; my maternal grandfather had heart failure."

Alania dipped one of her McNuggets in mayonnaise and ate it. "Kewpie's still goated, but this mayo is decent at best."

"You told me a lot about your likes. What about your dislikes?" Hiro asked, biting into his burger with a brown soy sauce.

"Weeeeeeell, I don't like Spongebob Squarepants, mustard, American cheese (unless melted), being away from you, or cursing music." Alania dipped another nugget in the egg paste.

"Whoa! Anyways, I gotta set you up for school." Hiro took another bite of his beef sandwich.

"School...? Part of me wants to go because I wanna see Mei; part of me doesn't because you won't be there," his blonde daughter protested.

"You'll be alright, honey," Hiro reassured her. "You can go on field trips, make friends, have parties on certain occasions..."

"I know, Daddy, but what if I get bullied?" Alania had a worried tone in her voice. "I'm afraid somebody might take advantage of me..."

"I'll show you how to deak with bullies at one point this week; I'll show you one move for right now. A jab!" He balled up his right fist and extended it. "Jab them in the nose or ribs or something."

"But what if I get suspended from school?" she asked.

"It depends on who started the fight. If you were to defend yourself or someone else, I won't ground you. I had to defend myself or someone else a multitude of times; I fought males and females. My dad defended me for it, whereas my mom would break down if I so much as came home with a bruise. Mom didn't want me to do MMA; she wanted me to be a teacher or something that normally doesn't involve violence, but after a while, she came around. I even defended Ichigo, one of my friends; that's how we established our companionship in the first place."

"Yes, sir. I'll keep that in mind." She ate the last of her food. "Mind if I go to the indoor playground please?"

"Go ahead." As Alania left, her father started texting Ichigo.

She tried to get to the slide, but a Japanese girl in a pink dress blocked her. "You're not purely Japanese--you can't get in!" (Before I continue, Alania was wearing a long shirt with Eevee on it and some cargo shorts.)

Alania tried to break through, but the bossy, little bitch blocked her. Pissed off, the blonde girl jabbed the assailant in her nose! "Let. Me. Through!"

The Japanese heckler girl started crying to her mommy. "Mommy! That blonde girl hit me!" she whined. Her mom was on her phone, which has a pink case, scrolling through X.

"She blocked me from going through the slide," Alania explained.

Hiro went to the 3 females. "Mrs. what's-your-face, you need to get off your phone and watch your daughter; she's being a bully to mine!" he scolded the young, small-breasted lady.

"She's doing fine without me," she said, still glued to her device.

"Let's go home," Hiro lightly grabbed Alania's hand and took her out the restaurant in annoyance. "She bullied you, but the mother didn't seem to care about what was going on..." He let out a big sigh, got in the Lexus, and drove off. " Also, I'm glad you stood your ground."

"Lovely," she smiled. "I might wanna do MMA just like you when I grow up--or be a teacher!"

"Eat your basic food groups, exercise, train, and who knows. You might be the next Khamzat Chimaev; he's a UFC middleweight champion and undefeated!" Hiro hit Hwy. 274, a freeway. "We'll get ice cream sometime this week. In the meantime, I gotta set you for school."

"Yes, sir..." she said, worried about having to fight somebody. "I really don't wanna go to school--I don't wanna be bullied and have to fight anyone. I didn't even wanna smack that girl up over the slide!"

"Cap. Otherwise, you woulda been hesitant. I've fought somebody when I didn't wanna fight  before; I just gave the assailant chance after chance to drop his shenanigans, but he didn't listen."

"Okay, maybe I am capping... Anyways, what'd this guy do to you to warrant hitting him?" A-bomb asked her violet-haired daddy.

"He said some stuff about me first, but it didn't phase me. He then said some mess about my mom, so I lost it and hit him in his liver!" He got onto a street he lived.

"Ohhhhh... Anyways, what music do you listen to?" Alania asked.

"I listen to EDM (not a genre), modern pop, modern rock, dancehall, rap (mostly trap and drill), enka, and Southern soul. EDM is different genres: dubstep, brostep, drum & bass, deep house future house..." Hiro explained. "I also listen to a bit of every other genre. I know you like K-pop and J-pop."

"I just don't like cursing in my music though," Alania replied. "Plus, I want my music to be subtle and mean something."

"You must have that musical intelligence. That's how Ichigo rolls." Hiro stopped at his decent apartment. "I'm trying to think about dinner now. Maybe we could do meatballs and gravy over rice..."

"That sounds good!" Alania got excited and went inside the building of his.
