Aiden tried to save her from the attack, but it was too late, the dog had already tore open her neck, blood seeping into her clothes. She let out a yell of agony, then with her last breath, she was gone. Aiden rushed to her side, tears flowing as he pulled he lifeless body into a hug, her blood getting all over his arms and shirt. The dog had ran off after hearing her scream, no way Aiden could avenge her now. He pulled away from the hug and looked at her face, which was already going pale from lack of blood.
