Chapter 5: Weakening blaze
The same day Pierce and his parents were invited to discussion about the failure of the test. Pierce was sitting between Gerald and Lumi. They were confused why they were here in the first place.
Seth started the conversation: “Your son caused a horrible accident today that put everyone in danger. The spell he performed caused a fire!”
“What,” Gerald and Lumi both said with a shocking voice.
“It was an accident. I just started doing magic so mistakes are fine, right?,” Pierce said with an angry grin.
“But you put people in danger and they would have almost died if it wasn’t for me,” Seth defended his opinion.
“Your being overdramatic. The fire wasn’t even that big. You didn’t even teach me how to do magic. This is all your fault,” Pierce furiously.
Lumi supported Pierce saying: “Sir, I think you should understand that mistakes are a part of learning. You shouldn’t punish him for failing because he just started his school year”
“You should give him another chance,” Gerald requested.
“NO. I won’t let anyone threaten this school anymore. You will leave this school today. My decision is final,” Seth scowled.
Pierce was so pissed off that he stood up and kicked the chair down. His parents rushed behind him. In Seth’s eyes, everything was going according to plan.
