Evening was the time all magical beings loved. Emma loved it because she could go to One Street and see new toys. Humans had so many cool things, and some magic folk bought them here to sell.
Like the one bubble blower, the magic salesperson had charmed it, and it blew bubbles of all colours. They had a special talk show that had a game predicting the color of the next bubble. It was a sensation in the Magic world.
Emma wore a sweater and ran towards the street. And promptly met Celia. Now, Celia was a vampire.
And she looked haggard. Almost like she couldn't control herself. That meant she was about to go on a rampage, and she was dangerous. Emma cursed herself; if only she had gone out a little later or a little earlier.
"Emma, you look delicious."
Oh, God, why did she wear a red sweater? Wasn't this an invitation?
Emma gulped and found that there was no one else in her path. Everyone was busy looking at trinkets, she guessed.
Emma decided. She wasn't the one who was going to be sacrificed today for this vampire. She had an idea.
Emma who was still clutched like a teddy bear by Celia, took out her phone and opened the InstaGroc software. They had a ten-minute delivery thing, and even the magical world sometimes liked to order food from humans.
"He is coming, Celia. Be calm. Retract your fangs slowly!"
Celia wasn't listening. Each minute felt like an hour, and finally, the dawn was here. She could make out the light from the bike. He was here.
"He is here, release me, you can see him, right!"
The poor delivery guy!
Celia turned towards him and grabbed the package from his hands rudely.
"You girls, why are you in this abandoned place? I thought someone was pranking me. It's not good for anyone to go to such places, listen to me."
Emma watched Celia look thirsty, and she felt really bad, thinking about what was going to happen.
Celia tore open the package, and a big cup came into view. She pierced the hole with the straw and put it in her mouth, sipping rudely. Her sipping sounds made Emma awkward. The delivery guy was a middle-aged man, and he looked wide-eyed at Celia.
"Is she not okay? Did she not eat?"
Emma looked innocent. What could she do when a vampire started craving? Essentially, vampires weren't allowed to go out during the day because of their cravings. Their cravings were under control during nighttime. But during the daytime, they acted like lunatics. It was still day and not night now.
"She is just hungry from a workout!"
"Mmh- Hmm!"
Emma saw him leave, looking weirdly at them. He looked like his worldview had been impacted. Celia did drink like a crazy drunkard. Maybe he would never deliver here again!
She had felt the same reaction, and also, a delivery guy had complained about them having her account banned for a while.
She looked at the culprit, who was still sipping the red watermelon juice happily.
What a fiasco! She was sure she was going to get banned again. How many accounts can she make now? Friends were born to torture you!
She has a hat, and he wants it. He comes to steal it, and they become friends. But when he leaves, she is heartbroken by the betrayal. She becomes the powerful Hat Maker, and he comes back to apologize! Will she forgive him?
Caleb is a werewolf who is cursed by a family spell. It says that no one in his family can use magic without suffering. He can be okay with it, but seeing his nephew and niece, he decides to steal the Ancient Hat that can reverse spells. It is his last choice, but he didn't expect to fall for the cute Hat-Maker.
Emma is a witch who is not particularly interested in making Hats. Her family loves hats, but she wants to just sit at the cash register. It all changes when the hat that bound their magic is stolen, and she is the only one who has magic to help her family. Can she forget the person who left her desperate?
