Attack The Future

The Truth Finally Unfolds

The Truth Finally Unfolds

Dec 04, 2025

Cameron worked in silence, papers scattered across the desk, maps covering the walls, calculations spilling over every surface. His eyes were tired, his beard untrimmed, his determination sharper than ever.

The door creaked open.

The Commander stepped inside, cigarette between his fingers, the smoke curling lazily around him.

He studied Cameron for a moment.

“You’ve been working yourself to death lately,” the Commander said. “Why?”

Cameron didn’t look up. “We know too little. Everything in our world makes no sense. I need the truth. All of it.”

The Commander exhaled a long stream of smoke.

“So,” he said quietly, “you want to know the truth.”

Cameron finally looked at him.

“Yes.”

The Commander crushed the cigarette under his boot. “Then listen carefully. Call Mary, Vanessa, and Zeith. Meet me in my office tonight.”

That Night

The office was dimly lit when they all arrived—Mary leaning against a wall, arms folded; Zeith silent as always; Vanessa tense, sensing something big.

The Commander stood behind his desk. But he wasn’t alone.

A woman stepped forward. Tall. Graceful. Deep blue eyes. Dark hair that shimmered like ocean waves.

“I’m Jezabell,” she said softly. “Levi’s real mother.”

The room froze.

Vanessa’s mouth fell open. Mary straightened. Zeith’s eyes narrowed. Cameron felt his heart pound in his chest.

The Commander continued, voice steady:

“Levi… is your brother.”

The shock was instant. Vanessa covered her mouth. Cameron stepped back, gripping the table. Mary looked at the Commander as if he were lying. Zeith finally spoke:

“Our brother?”

The Commander nodded.

“And Steve,” he continued, “is Levi’s father. Levi is the true firstborn.”

The room filled with stunned silence.

Then the Commander motioned for Jezabell to step forward.

“When we were younger,” he explained, “Steve loved Jezabell. Deeply. But she had to leave—she returned to Atlantis, her true home.”

Everyone stared at her in disbelief.

Jezabell continued in a calm, regal tone:

“My father is the King of Atlantis. I am an A-type Supernatural—one of the strongest kinds. Years later, when I returned to the surface world, Steve and I reunited. And Levi was born.”

Cameron swallowed hard. The truth was overwhelming.

But the Commander wasn’t done.

“There’s more you need to know.”

He sat down, folding his hands.

“When Steve and I were eighteen, he got into a terrible accident. We thought he would die. But a powerful man appeared—white hair, blue eyes. He saved Steve by giving him half of the Prime Core. And he gave the other half to me.”

Everyone stiffened.

Mary whispered, “Prime…?”

The Commander nodded. “The Prime Supernatural Core. The rarest power in existence.”

He continued:

“When Levi was born, he naturally inherited Steve’s half. But the Prime Core can’t awaken fully unless both halves are reunited. So when Levi collapsed the first time I met him…” He paused, guilt flickering across his face. “I gave him my half.”

Vanessa’s breath caught.

“So Levi…” Cameron said slowly, voice shaking, “Levi is…”

“The Prime Supernatural,” the Commander confirmed. “Stronger than all of us combined. Stronger than any core type. Stronger than A-type Supernaturals. He was never normal. He was never weak.”

Jezabell looked down, her eyes filled with sorrow and pride.

“He is my son. And he is destined for something far greater than Earth.”

The room fell into stunned silence.

And for the first time, Cameron understood why Levi’s existence had always felt different.

Why he had to keep searching.

Why he could never give up.

Levi wasn’t lost.

He was chosen.
