Transformers Generation Zero

Prologue: The Blue Planet (Part 2)

Prologue: The Blue Planet (Part 2)

Dec 06, 2025

The scene changes to the night sky in a much starier, clearer and brighter state. A beautiful woman with bright red hair tied back in a long braid is camping while stargazing as her bulldog lays down on his side enjoying the peace and serenity of the wilderness.

“That one is definitely the Dog Star, Samson. Your favourite.” the woman chuckles and then turns her telescope “And that is Virgo. That’s me.... and... Ah, that’s Orion! Wait... what’s that next to it? Is that... a shooting star? No. It’s too big and...”

Samson lifts his head up when he sees what is falling from the sky too. It looks like something bright yellow, and it falls slowly until it disappears behind the mountains. A loud explosion was heard and for a moment, the sky illuminated as though it was daytime before going dark again. This causes Samson to get on his feet and begin barking in the direction of the falling object. The woman flipped open her cellphone and dialed up her father.

Elsewhere, the ranger up in his tower was looking in the direction of mountains through his binoculars and next to his telescope before answering his flip phone “Hello?”

“Dad, it’s me. Ariel. Did you see that thing in the sky just now?” Ariel calmed the dog down by stroking his back.

“I think everyone in the area did and I’m sure they at least heard it and noticed it became day for one moment in the middle of the night. Are you alright?” the ranger asked.

“Aside from being weirded out, I’m fine. What do you think it was?” Ariel tried to look at the mountains through her telescope.

“I don’t know, but my advice is to let the experts handle it. You just stay where you are or better yet, if something is off, go back home, ok, honey?” he advised while still looking at the mountains.

“Alright, dad. You be careful too.” Ariel smiled.

“I will. Goodnight for now, little fox.” he smiled before closing the phone and looking at the mountains again “... Humph. Probably some big meteorite.”

Back in the mountains, what fell was the Ark. It had a few dents, scratches and looked slightly worn, but it was intact and was lodged right at the base of the mountain. Inside of the dark with only the many pods containing slumbering Autobots being illuminated. Strangely, there was also a lot of frost on the glass and metals indicating that it was quite cold. Meanwhile, in Alaska, the Nemesis crashed right into the water, and the splash itself froze instantly into a giant spiked glacier. For a moment, the water illuminated brightly then went dark again.

A few hours later, the temperature increased with precipitation on every surface. It was then that a few lights began to flicker, and Optimus Prime’s chambers began to illuminate. It was then that the large terminal also slowly booted up with a little lighting up at a time until the main screen displaying Teletraan-1's red robot face avatar grimaced.

“Ohh... my aching, CPU... The Autobots! Prime! Run a system diagnostic now!” Teletraan-1 spoke in a commanding voice and after some of the other smaller screens illuminated showing data and stats “Whew... Everyone is accounted for and in good condition. Now to find out where we are. Two! You’re up!”

One of the orbs on the terminal floated up and the blue light on its center illuminated “Teletraan-2 reporting for duty, One.”

“Two, I need you to look outside. Check on the state of the ship and see where we are. Be careful though. Meanwhile, I’ll boot up the rest of the ship.” Teletraan-1 instructed while other screens illuminated around him.

“Yes, sir.” the orb “bowed” and headed down the hallways.

The orb went up to one door and opened it remotely, but then stopped as some soil and rocks poured in. A mole popped its head out of the dirt looking annoyed before going back into the earth.

“I’d better check which door is safe to get out of first.... or CAN get out of.” Teletraan-2 remotely checked the ship’s outer visuals to see mostly stone and earth all around them, though the main exit at the very back of the ship was completely clear.

“Two, are you outside yet?” Teletraan-1 pinged him.

“Uh, not yet. It seems we landed somewhere. I can’t say where yet, but all the exits are blocked except for the main one. I’m going out now, One.” the orb floated towards the main exit though he only needed to go out through the tiny hatch.

Once outside, he was mesmerized by the beautiful mountain view even at night.

“Wow! One, are you seeing this?” he shares the images with his superior.

“I am! It seems we landed on a planet. A very green planet.” Teletraan-1 chuckled.

“Uh oh.” Teletraan-2 then saw that 70% of the Ark was lodged into the base of the mountain.

“Oh dear... Wherever we are, we’re going to be here for a while. You continue to check out the area and scan a few vehicle modes for good measure, Two.” the main AI then turned his attention towards reactivating the ship while scanning the rest of it.

“On it, One.” the orb stated and floated away.

At one campsite, Teletraa-2 scanned a dark green jeep Wrangler. At another, he scanned a van. At another, a beautiful red convertible with flames. At another one which turned out to be Ariel and Samson camped, he scanned her large old pickup truck. As Teletraan-2 continued to scout the area through the night, he made his way into the town scanning the squat cars at the police station and even a police helicopter, a few other cars, a few motorcycles, and even a few odd vehicles like a food truck and a boat. Once he returned to the Ark, he hovered before Teletraan-1 with his blue light shining brightly.

“Teletraan-1, I have GREAT news!” the orb spun around.

“Good because I have bad news. We didn’t land here as you may have guessed. We crashed and for some reason, the circuitry in the Ark has some kind of damage from extreme temperatures. I’m guessing that surviving that freak meteor shower had something to do with it. Perhaps from radiation or something. The Ark will never fly again.” Teletraan-1 groaned.

“Well, we don’t need to go anywhere. We’re here! We’re on the promised blue planet! We’re on EARTH!!” Teletraan-2 replied and remotely shared the information he gathered.

Several images around the globe flashed on the screens as the main AI’s avatar became awed.

“By the Matrix... We actually made it... It DOES exist... I guess it wasn’t that far for us to have floated here in only a month.” the old AI thought for a moment “Well, since we’re here, we might as well wake everyone up starting with Optimus and his heir.”

Teletraan-1 initiated the awakening sequence for both pods which opened and steam came out. Optimus came out first yawning and stretching, and Hotrod moaned while putting a few of his long red locks away from his face.

“Hello, Optimus. Hello, Hotrod.”  Teletraan-1 smiled at them.

“I feel like I’ve been sleeping for years...” Hotrod yawned while stretching.

“Actually, you’ve only been sleeping for a month.” Teletraan-1 chuckled.

“We arrived! We’re on Earth! And boy is it ever beautiful!” Teletraan-2 chimed floating before them.

“We are?! Already?” Optimus looked at Hotrod and then at Teletraan-1 “Teletraan-1, are we really on planet Earth?”

“We are! This planet fits Alpha Trion’s description of it all way down to the number. Rest his spark. He was right. Such a planet really does exist.” Teletraan-1 displayed the images.

“Wow... Dad, check it out!” Hotrod pointed.

“Well done, Teletraan-1. You brought us to what will hopefully become home.” Optimus smiled.

“Well, I have to be honest, Prime. It was more like the planet found us. As soon as we left Cybertron’s atmosphere, we got caught in a freak meteor shower. In knocked me offline, but after one month, we floated and crashed here.” the AI explained sheepishly.

“Heh. I guess we were guided here by divine intervention then... Well, I’ll take it.” Optimus chuckled as he sat in his throne, but his smile disappeared upon realizing how moist it was “Uh? Why is everything wet?”

“I have no idea, but if we did have a guardian angel guiding us all here, then Primus sent us a clumsy rookie. We crashed here and now, more than half of the Ark is stuck in the ground. The only way out is the main exit.” Teletraan-1 hummed and Hotrod noticed that the ruby rose in the vase has completely wilted into almost nothing “Since we are here, should I wake everyone else up?”

“Yes, and in the meantime, I’ll get myself in an alt mode. No sense presenting myself in my underclothing.” Optimus realized that he was still in his leotard.

“Oh, I’ve got a few options for you both. Here.” Teletraan-2 exchanged data with them through a blue beam of light.

Hotrod then had a thought “Dad, if we made it here, do you think the Decepticons did too?”

“Well, if they did or will be here soon, we shall make peace with them. The war is over and I for one would rather end the cycle.” Optimus reassured him firmly.

Elsewhere in Alaska, the spiked glacier began to emit a red light from within, and something melted its way through using a red laser. It turned out to be a diamond shaped drone with a glowing red light.

“My sentry has made it to the surface, Lord Megatron.” Shockwave’s voice spoke through it.

“Excellent. Now... explore and find me an alt mode befitting of me.” Megatron commanded while sitting on the black mechanical throne before the terminal.

The drone slowly turned and stopped when it spotted a military based using its binocular vision. Over there, there was an assortment of jet planes, military helicopters, armored trucks, a large tank with a double cannon, and other experimental combat vehicles.

“I found a most logical assortment.” the drone floated towards the base.

A fan reboot/reimaging of G1.

The war between Autobots and Decepticons ended in a stalemate of which Cybertron was left in such a ruined state that it went dormant and would eventually die and to make matters worse, Transformerkind was now an endangered species. It's one hope for being saved is to leave Cybertron and find a new planet to call home. Optimus Prime leads the last of the Autobots aboard the Ark while Megatron leads the last of the Decepticons the Nemesis. The bad news is that they wind in a freak meteor shower which leaves both shuttles and all the bots onboard in a state of statis lock while floating aimlessly in space. The good news they wind up on a planet called Earth that is predominantly organic though insanely rich in energon. Optimus wants the bots to move in the right way and to form a colony while Megatron wishes to take over the Earth while laying claim to all the energon himself. So the Autobots and Decepticons are once again at war while also uncovering the mystery of the Earth as it seems to be a planet that is more than meets the eye. Luckily, Optimus has found a friend in Ariel Renard and her troupe.
