"Miss Palma!" Fritts shouted. He quickly walked over to her, holding a wooden stick.
"What's the stick for?" Palma asked.
"Huh? Oh! Nothing in particular." He replied.
"If you hit me, I'll tell father." She forewarned.
"Who said i was going to hit you?" He argued.
Palma stared at him with a poker face.
"Anyway, let's start our first lesson." He said. "Run."
Palma looked at him, confused.
"What are you waiting for? Hurry and run." He said. He waved his stick in the opposite direction.
Palma sighed. She did as she was told and ran.
Moments later...
Palma ran around the training grounds five times.
"I...Pant...can't...Pant...run...Pant...anymore..." Palma grunted. She fell to the ground.
"Hmm... Have you never done exercise before?" Fritts asked.
Palma lay down on her back to rest.
"Exercise? I've been studying a lot lately, so i didn't really have the time." She replied.
Fritts looked over at the other students in the training grounds.
"She definitely has better stamina than an average five year old. But she's still well behind compared to her peers, who are already nine year olds." Fritts mumbled to himself.
He looked back at Palma.
"From now on, we'll be working on your stamina. so, no swords, spears, or bows for now, got it?" Fritts announced.
Palma got up from the ground and brushed herself off.
"Yes, sire." Palma replied.
For the next three months, Fritts worked on improving Palma's stamina.
