Subject: Out-of-office requests

Hello Gregory,

Hey there, just a quick reminder that I have PTO this week. I realize that I've responded to a few emails and double-checked the [redacted] report and gave my feedback. That's on me; I should have set some better boundaries. At this time, I really just need to focus on rest and recovery. Right now, I'm faced with the difficult decision of pulling the plug for all four of my grandparents at once. I imagine that this will have a domino effect for my entire family.

I appreciate your paitience at this time, which I am also requesting another two days of PTO at the end of what I'm already taking. The upcoming funerals may also impact my in-office time. With dad's fragile heart and all, he might be next on the chopping block. Fingers crossed!
