After getting ready we went down to the kitchen and sat around the table. While eating, they kept stealing gazes towards me and I felt like growling.

Eventually I just tried to focus on eating my food. But for some reason I didn't have much appetite. I decided it would be better to just go to school now.

So standing up I got out the door with a small bye. I heard Liam do the same and then he hurried out after me.

After a few minutes of silence, he opened his mouth.

"Sooo..."

"Sooo what?"

"Uh... What's going on Kai? You're acting super duper weird."

"Weirder than usual?"

"Yes. Definitely."

I stopped walking and looked at him for a moment, hesitating. "Liam..."

He looked back at me with full attention. "Yes..?"

"I-- Ya know what? Never mind. Maybe next time." I resumed walking. I could see his 'What the heck' expression without even looking back and couldn't help but smirk. I know him too well.

"What do you mean never mind?!? I'm dying to know! Kaiiii."

We arrived to school soon enough and entered our class. There were a few more minutes before the first lesson started so I spent them on my best friend --which is my ipad of course-- sorry Liam.. hehe.

The first lesson was over pretty fast and the class started to empty. I told Liam he could go and I would join him later.

He, of course, wanted to stay with me. But I shooed him away because even with how much I wanted to cuddle him, this once I wanted some time alone.

But just five minutes later felt like forever. So I left my ipad alone so the poor thing could take a break from me and stood up.

I looked around, the class was completely empty this time. Well, almost completely empty. There was a big fly on the ceiling. But, Meh. He won't tell on me. I hope.

I opened the window widely and passed my legs over the rail. But then I stopped. Mr. Everett was right when he told me to get down. And now, thinking about what he said, it could be pretty dangerous. Only now I really looked around.

The roof looked super old. What if I'd jump and then it'd crack and I fell? I could break some bones. It definitely won't be nice. What will the school tell Mum? That her son's an idiot?

I'd rather not. The door sounds a better option right now.

As I was inspecting the roof, trying further to convince myself not to jump on it, my phone buzzed.

I pulled it out of my pocket. It was Liam.

~"Look up doofus >_<"~

I looked up to see him waving to me from his place under our tree.

~"Come down here already. My soul craves some ✨️Cuddles✨️"~

I laughed. His way of putting words sometimes... I loved it so much.

~"Kay fieeen😝"~

I jumped down from the window and back into class. My soul craves some cuddles as well.

Exactly as I went out the door, I bumped into no other than Mr. Everett.

Just a few moments ago I was sitting on the window. Damn. I need to act normal like nothing happened.

"Are you feeling well Mr. Holloway?" Mr. Everett asked.

"All good. And you?"

"... Doesn't your mouth hurt from smiling like that?"

"Nope."

"Okay then. See you around."

"Yep. Bye."

I hurried to the building's entrance.

What da hell was that?! I probably seemed like an idiot and made him more suspicious than not.
