My younger MAN is a WOMAN?

Dec 12, 2025

Panic clawed at Kilee, but she refused to let it win. Juggling a call with Maria, she fired off a text to the hacker, hoping this risky move would open a window to find Maria before it slammed shut.
Kilee sped through the shadowed city, one hand white-knuckled on the wheel, the other barely clutching her phone, eyes darting for a message from the hacker. Every heartbeat counted. Maria’s call proved her strength, but the danger was spiraling beyond anyone’s control.
Maria stumbled down the crumbling staircase, each breath ragged with pain. Shadows flickered along the walls as she descended, desperate to find that cursed exit before Ioan closed in.
A sudden crash shattered the silence—a door ripped from its hinges, or perhaps a chair smashed against the wall. Maria froze, her injured leg trembling uncontrollably. The noise ricocheted off concrete and steel, making it impossible to know how close Ioan truly was.
Each shattering noise sent a spike of panic through her chest, squeezing the air from her lungs.
She pressed herself against the damp, cold wall, heart pounding so loudly she feared it would give her away. In her mind, Ioan’s face twisted with rage, his footsteps thundered a warning. He knew she was gone. Her thoughts screamed: he is coming... he will find me.
Clinging to the last shreds of consciousness, she slapped her cheeks, forcing herself to stay alert. Now was not the time to surrender to panic.

The hacker hunched over her monitors in the dim-lit room, fingers flying the instant Kilee’s text arrived. She dove into Maria’s call metadata, using advanced software to triangulate her position. Each data point narrowed the search, but time was slipping away.

Encrypted code raced down the screen as the hacker bypassed security, pulling up building blueprints and local surveillance feeds. Sweat beaded on her brow as she cross-referenced with the city’s emergency network. Fifteen minutes later, Kilee’s phone buzzed with Maria’s exact location and a terse, urgent note.
Simultaneously, she filed an anonymous tip with the police, including Maria’s coordinates and urging swift action. With her digital trail erased, all hope now rested on whether they could reach Maria in time.
At police headquarters, the captain snapped into action the moment the tip came through. Voice clipped and urgent, he barked orders to his team, dispatching all available units to the coordinates. Sirens erupted in the night as officers sped toward the scene.

As officers rushed out, one of them hesitated, turning to the captain. "Sir, are we sure these coordinates are legit? Could be a trap, or just a prank."

The captain didn't miss a beat. "Doesn't matter. Someone's life might be on the line. We check it out—full force. Move!"

But on the city streets, Kilee pushed her car even harder, weaving through traffic, her jaw set with determination. She was desperate to reach Maria first, fueled by a fierce, personal resolve that outpaced even the flashing blue lights behind her. The hacker did not give up; she logged in to all the video surveillance around the place. Maria's coordinates showed her position; any of them gave her more tips. It was like she did not exist in that place.

The police squad cars screeched to a halt in front of the abandoned buildings in the city center. The structures loomed, windows shattered, graffiti curling along the crumbling bricks. Sinister echoes- metal creaks, a distant clang, a stray animal's shriek- filled the air.
The captain scanned he darkness, his brow furrowed. For a second, he hesitated as the uneasy silence pressed in. “It’s more complicated than it looks,” he said quietly. Then loud: “Stay sharp. We move in together - no one splits off.”
Ramirez tightened his grip on his flashlight. “Ready when you are, Captain.” As they advanced, footsteps echoing through the hollow, haunted corridors, the feeling of unease never left their side. Ramirez's back was full of goosebumps as he said, “Sir, this place gives me the creeps of a lifetime.” In fact, he hated places like that.

The captain just shot Ramirez a scolding look, saying nothing. The silent rebuke was enough. The team pressed on, sweeping their flashlights across every shadow as they continued their search in  the building, nerves stretched tight.

At the same time, in the opposite building, Maria was slowly going down the stairs as she noticed she had left blood behind her. Her heart almost stopped. She tore her shirt and tied her foot so she wouldn't leave any more traces. While doing it, the pain was so unbearable that she let out a painful, echoing yell. It became infected as the pain grew stronger.

Ramirez swept his flashlight across a dusty corridor, the beam catching on a shattered piece of fabric with blood on it. Suddenly, Officer Chen motioned for everyone to stop.
“Captain over here,” Chen whispered, crouching near the doorway. On the floor, the fabric, and the room looked clean; it was as if someone had been there. The table and chairs were broken, indicating that a fight had occurred in the room.
Ramirez’s breath caught. “That’s hers, isnt it?”
The captain nodded grimly, gritting his teeth. That was a strong, violent fight. Was she fine?
Before he could answer, a fight sound echoed from somewhere deeper in the building - a muffled cry, barely audible over the rattling broken windows.
The team tensed, weapons and flashlight raised in that long, dark corridor as the tension grew.
The captain raised a hand for silence, his voice low and urgent. “Everyone, stay sharp. We’re close. Move in, slow and careful.”
They advanced, every step echoing with tension, the sense of danger growing with every shadow they passed.
