Triumph: The Poisoned Toast
The Central Hall of Darkness was transformed. It had become the setting for a magnificent feast. Hundreds of Divine Beings of Darkness, clad in silk and ether, had gathered to witness the Prince’s chosen one. Ha Eun, wearing a dress of flowing, dark-blue light, was dazzling. Seoong stood beside her, radiating pride and happiness.
— You are beautiful, my Light.
Ha Eun smiled, feeling like she finally belonged for the first time.
Lord Wei stood up, holding a chalice of dark crystal. The Keeper serving the drinks subtly poured a thick, purple elixir—the Lotus of Darkness—into Seoong’s and Ha Eun’s cups. As Seoong and Ha Eun took their chalices, Wei proposed a toast.
— To what was destined to happen! To what has become our new fate! To Ha Eun and Seoong! May our Darkness be enriched by this Light!
Seoong and Ha Eun took their cups and took a large gulp. Within minutes, the sweet, intoxicating drink took effect. Everything swam before Ha Eun’s eyes. Her skin flared up, as if fire burned beneath it, and a familiar, but now unbearably intense heat ignited in her lower abdomen. Her breathing hitched.
— Seoong... I don’t feel well... — Ha Eun whispered, clutching his arm.
Seoong felt the same thing. His power began to pulse wildly.
— Something is wrong with this drink, — he growled, trying to maintain control.
As soon as Wei noticed Seoong struggling, he gave the order:
— The Prince and his bride must be tired from the excitement. Take them away to rest. Immediately!
Seoong and the barely standing Ha Eun, whose face was flushed with color, were snatched up and dragged away. The door to their chambers slammed shut. Lord Wei personally turned the key.
The Union of Seoong and Ha Eun
The chambers were immense, but now they felt too confined. The aphrodisiac, the Lotus of Darkness, worked not as a gentle stimulant, but as an explosion directed straight into their divine cores. Ha Eun was burning. She felt her body demand Seoong. Her mantle slipped off, leaving her in a dress of the sheerest, shimmering silk. Her eyes were clouded with a scorching, primal desire. Seoong stood, leaning against the obsidian wall, trying to maintain control. His pupils were constricted, and his powerful Darkness struggled against his father’s compulsion.
— I don’t want it to be like this! — Seoong hissed, seeing Ha Eun undress. — It’s a trap!
— I want you! — Ha Eun took a step toward him, and then another, throwing herself into his embrace.
— Stop! — Seoong gasped, trying to push her away.
— No! — she cried. — I want you! I choose you! I want you to take me not because our energy demands it, but because I want it myself! I choose us!
This absolute confession shattered Seoong’s last barriers. She chooses him. Seoong let out a deep, low groan of surrender. His hands wrapped around her, pulling her close so she could feel the power of his body. He ripped the silk from her in one sharp motion. Darkness met Light in a raging vortex. Seoong drew Ha Eun toward him, and their kiss was a collision of elements: hungry, deep. He swallowed her moans, her breath. Ha Eun responded with the same fierce intensity, her fingers digging into his back, demanding more, demanding union.
His lips wandered down her neck, leaving a trail of burning Darkness that resonated with her inner Light. Their energies began to intertwine wildly, creating a new, blinding and scorching pattern. Ha Eun felt her legs give way from the rush of heat. Seoong caught her, without breaking contact, and threw her onto the satin bed. He was above her, embodying the wild, primordial force she had always denied but always desired. In her eyes, clouded with desire, he saw not just the need from the Lotus of Darkness, but her sincere choice.
“I choose you! I choose us!”
Her words became his permission. He hungrily caressed her breast with his tongue, simultaneously caressing her between the thighs. Ha Eun moaned and writhed with pleasure. She could no longer restrain her desire. Ha Eun reached out and began to pull out his hard member. Spreading her thighs, she wrapped her legs around his torso and pulled him to her, fiercely, demandingly. Seoong took a breath and entered her. It was an explosion that tore her from the inside, erasing the boundaries between them. He moved with power and speed, fiercely, like the Darkness that had finally found its Light. Ha Eun screamed—screamed from the fusion, from the force of their meeting, from the breaking of resistance, and from finally belonging to each other. She felt him inside her—not only his body, but his mighty, ancient essence. Her own Light responded, shining even brighter and more blindingly, creating a vortex that consumed them. They became One.
The moment their divine bodies merged, a shockwave of black and gold energy swept through. It was a union that no walls could contain. In the Realm of Darkness, the cliffs flashed with an impossible, golden light. Creation moaned. Seoong and Ha Eun, entwined on the crystal bed, became a single, destructive, beautiful energy that not even Wei had dared to dream of.
Cold Dawn and the Price of Union
Morning arrived. Seoong and Ha Eun, exhausted, slept in each other’s arms. At the same time, in the Hall of Secrets, Lord Wei impatiently awaited the report.
— Well? The union has occurred. What is the result? — Wei did not try to hide his impatience. He was waiting for power.
The Chief Keeper stood before him.
— Lord, the union was powerful... unprecedented, — the Keeper began. — Their resonance caused rifts on the borders of the Realms. However...
— Speak! — Wei roared.
— Her true power did not open up and did not fully merge.
— Why? Fusion involves the release and connection of energies.
— For a total connection, she needs to be spiritually mature. Ha Eun has not reached perfection.
Wei’s face darkened. His plan had failed. Now, it threatened serious consequences.
— Is there a way to accelerate the process?
The Keepers exchanged glances.
— There is a way, Lord. The Affirmation of Sorrow. Creating a formation that directs concentrated Darkness energy onto the Spiritual Core to... to break the resistance and accelerate the process. But...
— What “but”?
— It is... very painful. It causes terrible torment. Not every God can withstand it without irreversible damage to the soul.
Wei decided not to delay and, despite the possible terrible consequences, gave an order that became a sentence not only for Ha Eun but also for her future with Seoong.
— Begin preparations. We cannot wait for her spirit to mature. She will have to endure this pain. Act!
The Void Prison: The Scream of Betrayal
Seoong was in a deep sleep, his body still intertwined with Ha Eun’s. The Keepers acted quickly and silently. The soft light of the morning dawn in the chambers was replaced by absolute, icy darkness. Ha Eun instantly felt her body being torn from Seoong and transported through space.
She awoke in the Void Prison—a cell carved from black ice, where there was no light, only cold that penetrated to the bone. She was bound in chains forged from ancient dark power. The Keepers of Energy stood over her. Lord Wei was nearby.
— What... what is happening? — Ha Eun tried to break free, but the chains burned her wrists.
— The Lord’s command! Resistance is futile! — one of the Keepers replied, and they immediately began the Affirmation of Sorrow.
The pain struck her, as if hundreds of swords had been plunged into her from all sides. It felt as if her light core was being forcibly turned inside out. Ha Eun screamed.
Wei stepped closer, his face expressing cold sympathy.
— Stop resisting, Ha Eun, — he said.
— Why are you doing this?
— I need you to reach spiritual perfection as quickly as possible. We are helping you accelerate the process.
— But for what?
— Do you truly think Ro Eun simply took you in and kept you on a short leash the whole time? It’s about your energy. It has no equal in all the worlds. The faster you spiritually mature and unite with my son, the sooner your union will be unbreakable.
— You... you want my power! — Ha Eun understood everything. — Seoong will find out what you are doing, and he won’t forgive you! — she snarled.
Wei did not flinch. He looked directly into her eyes, uttering the most terrible lie:
— Seoong not only knows, he himself wants you to unleash your energy. We wanted you to voluntarily reveal your energy to him, but... alas. It didn’t work. And if you want to be with him, you must not resist us.
Ha Eun’s legs gave way. But not from pain, but from horror. Seoong had used her from the start. He won her over so she would want to be with him and voluntarily give up her energy. Her sincere feelings had become her most terrible betrayal.
— You won’t get my energy! — Ha Eun cried.
— It’s only a matter of time, — Wei replied coldly, stepping back. — Intensify the Formation! We cannot delay!
The Keepers intensified the Formation. A wild, piercing scream tore from Ha Eun’s chest.
Seoong Hears the Scream: A Fatal Mistake
Seoong was asleep. Suddenly, his sleep was interrupted. His world exploded. He awoke not from a sound, but from an unbearable, physical SCREAM that was a pure vibration of the Soul. It was Ha Eun’s Scream. Seoong sat up instantly. His own chest ached piercingly.
— Ha Eun! — His voice was full of horror.
Seoong, engulfed in rage and pain, instantly teleported to the Hall of Secrets. Lord Wei sat calmly, sipping a dark, fragrant drink.
— Where is Ha Eun?! What have you done?! I can feel her pain!
— I am doing what you so desired—helping you unite forever.
— So, you ordered us to be drugged with an aphrodisiac?!
— I did.
— You got your way. We merged. Where is she?! Why are you hurting her?!
— Yes, you united your bodies, but her energy did not fully open up. Her true inner power is still closed. And now I want to accelerate the process.
— So you agreed to bless us to take her power?!
— Yes!
— But why, father?! You are already the lord of the Realm of Darkness?!
— And why is Ro Eun doing this? Why did he seal her power until spiritual perfection?! Because Ha Eun can do more than just give power! Her energy can change worlds, it can be authority over authority! So why should her energy belong only to the Realm of Light?!
- Father! Snap out of it! If you accelerate her perfection, it might destroy her divine essence!
- Even so! That is better than giving this power to Ro Un!
Seon knelt before his father.
- I address you as a son. Let Ha Eun go. She is my destiny.
- She could become a threat to the entire Realm of Darkness. Her release is out of the question! She must achieve perfection or be destroyed along with her power!
- Father, your lust for absolute power has blinded you!
- Ungrateful! I am doing this for your sake! I am doing this for the sake of the Realm of Darkness! You yourself felt that the strongest energy is hidden within her. And I want this power to belong to you, not the Realm of Light.
— I never wanted Ha Eun’s power!
— You didn’t want it?! And wasn’t it you who started all this chaos?! You went against the marriage with No Eul! You stole Ha Eun from the Realm of Light! Don’t play the innocent one. You brought her here to take her and possess her! Or did you think your actions wouldn’t have consequences! What happened is the outcome of your choice and actions! So pay the price for your desires!
Seoong looked at his father. In his gaze, there was no longer a son—only the God of Darkness who realized that his love had become a tool for betrayal.
— I did not want this outcome, — Seoong said venomously. — I will do everything to stop you!
— You will go against your father?
— I will go against your thirst for power!
Seoong felt Ha Eun’s desperate screams tearing him apart inside. He knew he couldn’t defeat Wei and his Keepers without killing half of his own Realm. “I made a mistake. I myself led my Light to the slaughter! I must save her! This time, I must do everything right,” Seoong chastised himself.
He knew the only one who could stop Wei was Ro Eun. Seoong, making a fatal decision, turned around and, enveloped in a vortex of Darkness, vanished. He did not wait, he did not fight. He headed to the Realm of Light to ask Ro Eun to officially give Ha Eun to him in marriage. Seoong had no idea that turning to the God of Light, done out of desperation, would lead to an even more terrible tragedy.
