"Guhhh… Damn, why did the power have to go out!?"

It's the middle of the damn winter…

Here I was… Sitting in the middle of the couch, wrapped in 3 blankets, shivering to death… The living room wasn't necessarily the warmest place, but it had a fireplace for whatever reason, so it was a must-be location.

*Shiver*

"Kea… I didn't know you could c-create fires… That's p-pretty cool…"

Nil was lying on the ground, under several more blankets than me, but apparently she can't take the cold nearly as well as I can, and that's a lot since I can't take it very well either.

Y'know, things like this are kind of nice sometimes. It makes me feel part of something, even though everyone in this apartment system is all shivering their butts off. There's just this sense of teamwork that I can't explain.

[Less than a single, cold, grueling hour later]

Damn, why was I so talkative!!? I hate experiences like that! So deceiving and disorientating! I said way more than I intended!
