My sisters and my weapons are from Pennyward, her weapons are daggars, because she likes to sing in battle so her enemies can get trapped by her floating daggers. Mine is a battle axe because I tend to be more quiet, so I do close combat. However I have a second weapon, it’s dual wield, they’re a special one of a kind kusarigama. The blades and chains are made of iron and the handles of the blades are made of ironwood, just like my battle axe’s handle. However to prevent splinters in my hands the grips are covered in black stained leather. And because of our identical blood, me and my sister can control each other's weapons, yet we make sure not to.
When I mentioned we “were the faces of the flying pigs” I used the word ‘were’ because I’d quit a few years ago. I’d left because I got tired of the fighting. I’d grown up in a horrible town, I’d struggled my entire life, and now that I was 30 I wanted a quieter life. I was lucky my sister understood where I was coming from. I ended up receiving a letter the day I left, from dad, he was giving me a deed to land in a town called Portia. He’d heard about my change of pace and gifted it to me. The land had a house built on it, that he’d built 20 years ago when he was a builder in Portia. So I moved to the quiet town of Portia, as I am: Aki, not Raven, not an ex-member of the flying pigs, but me.
I was on a boat approaching the coastal -not exactly on the coast- town. The salty sea stung my eyes as droplets flung onto me from the water, and when we docked I jumped off the boat over the side.
“Aki?” Presley asked, he’d sent me a letter stating he’d introduce me to joining the builders guild -because my father was a builder here I wanted to follow that, plus it sounded peaceful being builder- when he’d received a letter from my father that I’d be moving to his old place.
Presley has dark brown hair nearly black and wore a blue suit and bow tie. He had whiskers[mustache] that were like a cat's. It was kinda silly but also business man-esk.
“That’s me.” I nodded, and stayed quiet other than that.
I wore a yellow work jacket, cause yellow is my favorite color, with black jeans and the matching steel toe boots. Sure it was my usual work outfit, but I loved it! It’s comfy. Last night before I hopped on the boat I’d cut my hair to be a shoulder length jellyfish cut, that had two braids in the back with the longer strands that were seen from the front as they draped on my shoulders. My bangs were tucked behind my ears with raven hair clips ensuring the strands of hair stayed there. I had my axe on my back so in case I needed to defend myself I could, as well as each of my kusarigama’s blades on my hips with the binding chain behind me, again for easy usage. I had my green duffle bag slung over my shoulders with my stuff in it.
“Well let me show you your fathers old place, it’s nice to know -dispite how sleepy Portia is- that people are still interested.” Presley made small talk as we walked.
“Hey Pres,” a red head approached Presley and I, “the corps needs some help from the builders guild.”
The red haired man had short red hair that wasn’t curly, he also had a small beard on his chin. He had blue eyes and a matching bandanna around his neck, and blue gloves. He wore a tan and yellow zipped up jacket with blue ripped jeans. He had a thigh pouch on as well and work boots.
“And who’s this?” His attention drifted to me.
