Sea urchins are known for poison to be in their spikes, so its not a good idea to get close. I froze. I never freeze in battle! Was I going soft already? Or was it the fact I wasn’t wearing a mask that caused me to freeze?

“Aki! What are you doing here?” Arlo noticed me frozen and shouted at me, he was mad. “We posted a notice to avoid this area because of the numerous amount of dangerous monsters.”

He snapped me out of my icy cage and I grabbed the chain of my Kusarigama. I ignored his annoyance of me being there, I can fight. I am a fighter! No matter how much I try to live a peaceful life, battle is apart of who I am.

I ended up doing a move I made a few years ago and defeated the monsters blocking my path. I didn’t care if Arlo was mad at me for being over here when he put up a notice I haven’t even seen yet. I didn’t care he was technically a person above me because I’m no longer a member of the flying pigs and am now a builder. Oh, I still have problems with authority! Good to know. But not good, because I have to listen -yet when I’m directly told not to do something, it makes me wanna do it! Like touching a sock, or going out in the rain, or going to bed at a reasonable time, or pausing a book i’m reading even though its a good fucking book!

I decided I needed to let off some steam, cause I was now a bit mad and upset. To let the steam off I decided to attack the monsters that the other 3 people(Including Arlo) were dealing with. My superior fighting skills let me to defeating most of the remaining monsters, without getting hurt at all. Like the blond girl here, who got scratched by a non-poisonous sea urchin.

“How did you do that?” The third person, who was as tall as me maybe a tad taller spoke. He had green face paint.

“Who are you?” The girl asked. “Why haven’t I ever seen you here before.”

I just ignored them and tried to walk off.

“Aki. What the fuck? Do you have some issues with following rules that keep you safe?” Arlo’s voice made me stop, he sounded so mad, yet worried? I guess he really was doing his job for others… like I did…

"Leave me alone.” I tried to walk off again before I have a panic attack, or just go silent…

I managed to escape without more questions and when I made it to my house I turned around. I chose to go to where I saw a lot of monsters earlier to go blow off steam by defeating them. I was so pissed I ended up staying up all night.

I entered town for the first time today. But only entered the builders guild when it opened up for the day so I could show Presley that I completed the assignment. And to my horror he gave me a second task; I had to make a stone furnace. It makes sense I need one, but I also want to just get to filling in commissions.

I luckily had enough materials that I didn’t have to gather more for the crafting recipe. I spent the day making it, and by the time I finished it was nearly too late to turn it into Presley, so I chose to spend the rest of the day collecting materials with my axe and pickaxe. I managed to not see or talk ot Arlo today, which made me kinda happy. He was probably pissed off at me anyway for last night.
